I thought it was a decent show as some of the contestants did a great job while others did bad. I would like to give my opinion on who did best and who I will think go home. Please let me know how you feel.
Performances
1. Jordin
2. Melinda
3. Phil
4. Lakisha
5. Blake
6. Chris
7. Sanjaya
How I think America will vote:
1. Jordin
2. Melinda
3. Blake(don't agree!!)
4. Phil
5. Lakisha(has a bit of rough night)
6. Sanjaya
7. Chris(his backtalk to Simon showed tons of arrogance)
Those are just my opinions! I am sure Sanjaya will be around another week even though he sounded horrible and I even like the kid! Oh well! That is the fun of the show.

I don't think LaKisha has the personality to win although she has a strong voice. I think she is too low class. I like Jordon but she is young and will have a great career I don't think she is best. Sanjaya butchered one of my favorite songs and I'm thinking Bonnie Raitt was not impressed with him either! I thought the rest were just average performances except for Melinda she blew the rest off the stage! She has what it takes to be a superstar. I can't get enough of her singing.

Lakisha doesn't have the best personality but has a great voice as you said. There is a difference in styles between Melinda and Jordin and I think Jordin has come a great way and Melinda was already there. Seeing Jordin come so far in a short amount of time says a lot about her but it will be a tough one to pick between her and Melinda. I am just worried about Melinda selling to younger America, which Jordin will be a hit with I am sure.

I really hope that Jordin will win. She has shown great strenght and she is only 17 as they all keep saying. I think she has a great personality and a wonderful voice adn even if she doesn´t win, she will be the one wh probably will succeed the best.. after AI

At first, I wanted Melinda or Lakisha to win but now I want Jordin as I too think she will do the best. I think it is a shame though that there are 4 guys left and only 3 girls when so many other girls have outshined all the other guys. Stephanie and Gina were great singers, much better then the guys left.

hello..
well..i like watching them all but whenever i get attached by someone..that particular someone will be kicked out the next perfomance..now..i tend to be natural..let the judges as well as the voters to do their job.coz it is hurting to see someone u like gone in the coming week.i dont want to get hurt anymore.but i like malinda..she is great..

I personally thought that Lakisha done a really bad job last night. She didn't do her usual performance either. I don't think that she is the person to win this season. I was vey impressed with Jordin last night and Phil is one of my favorites. He deserves at least one more week and I personally like Sanjaya but I feel that he will go home before Phil. Melinda Doolittle is a great performer and has a great voice, but she had her competition last night with the performance that Jordin brought.

I think that they all did a decent job last night but some did better than others. My favorite is Blake and hopefully he'll stay. I think that either Chris, Sanjaya, or Lakisha will go home becuz their performances seemed to be the weakest.

Well I love country night because I love Country Music. It seems that sometimes even the best singers have trouble with the country night, which just goes to prove that country is hard to sing.
I was really impressed with Phil. I have like him from the beginning. I just love the tone of his voice. I don't think he will win but I sure hope that he gets a country contract so I can continue to listen to him. Even with a great performance last night, I am still worried that he might go home, as he has been in the bottom a few times and it is clear that in general America prefers others over him.
I can't believe Jordin decided to sing Broken Wings when Martina was the guest star. I don't think I would have the guts. But Jordin did a great job. I think it was the best version that has ever been sung on Idol. It wasn't as great as Martina, but you wouldn't expect it to be. Jordin has imporved so much since the beginning and I am really rooting for her. I think she is completely safe tonight.
Melinda in my opinion is the best of the bunch. She is so fun to watch and man can she sing. I agree that she does not really have a mainstream music voice and style and she will probably never be a superstar in mainstream music, but she will have a great career. I disagree with Simon, I don't want her to get rid of the surprised looks, as that is part of her charm and personality. She is completely safe tonight also.
Blake did not give a great performance last night, but he has a certain style and uniqueness that America loves so he is not going anywhere.
That leaves Lakisha - not the best performance by her, but she still has a great voice and can really sing, Chris - I thought he was pretty bad last night, I have never been a big fan of his, I don't care for the squeaky warble in his voice, but I think he will have a decent career even though he won't win Idol, and Finally Sanjaya - that was the worst performance last night, he just sounded awful, I really can't stand the blandness of his voice.
So I think the bottom three will be Lakisha, Chris and Sanjaya (unless Sanjaya gets the pity votes again in which case I think Phil will be in this place).
I sincerely hope that Sanjaya goes home, if not him then it is a toss up.

I thought Phil did the best -- followed by Jordan and Blake (tieing).. then Chris.. Chris is my favorite-- He started off bad but in the middle and the end he showed his true side. He wasn't arrogant-- I think he was just sad-- He stated that he had alot of friends that go to VA college-- He is from VA. Just a rough night for him- I don't see him going. I'm hoping the bottomw 3 are lakesha, Sanjaya, and Melinda-- I'm sure it won't be-- Phil has a good chance of being ousted this week- He has been in bottom 3 alot- I see Sanjaya as safe again- As much as it drives me crazy!

I agree that I think Jordin did the best, she is just awesome. And shes from where I live! yay lol. And I also think Phil did good. I don't think it was Blakes best performance, but I am a huge Blake fan. I love last weeks performance by him, and also when he sang Time of the Season.
I hope that sanjaya goes home. I dont like him, I dont think he can sing, I dont like his personality...i just dont like him.

I have to admit that Phil was amazing last night, the best he's ever sung in this competition and country music is his legacy. Melinda was great and so was Jordin. I didn't care for any of the other performances, especially Sanjaya who must be voted off tonight.

I hope hope hope Sanjaya goes home. He's made a laughing stock out of the show, and it's time for that little boy to go home.
And as much as I like Chris, his attitude last night was a real turn off. It'll be a very interesting night to say the least!
