I'm not sure yet and it's already 5:15. I'm thinking burgers with either mac-n-cheese or fries.

I cannot count the number of time I have done that. I swear I probably do that at least 2-3 times a week. I like to plan it out in the morning but sometime when it comes time to cook, I'm no longer in the mood for it. But some days I have dinner planned out at 10am. haha Burgers are always a safe bet!

We are having steak, baked potatoes and brocolli. I took the steak out this morning and it thawed and I didn't feel like making it when it came time to make dinner :(

I've done that MANY times. I'll take out chicken in the morning only to realize that night that I'm not in the mood to make it. Either that or I am no longer in the mood for it. So I feel ya on that one.

Well, my daughter is having a tortilla with peanut butter, and green peas. She'll probably ask for a "nana" for dessert. I'm having sausage and eggs. DH is eating out with his boss, and my other two are eating at the church. (youth group tonight!) Pretty quiet and easy tonight. LOL!

We were going to have hamburger helper, but i decided that I want dirty rice. My daughter isnt crazy about it though so I'm making her a hotdog, fries and pears. My husband works late tonight so I'll just have dirty rice alone and he can have the rest when he gets home.

Sounds like quite a plan! I love dirty rice!!! It is so good and sometimes I add more spices to make it more spicy. Although it did almost make my boyfriend choke the one night because he didn't know about it. Oops.

I cooked Pepper Chicken for dinner. Easy to make. Take green, yellow, and red bell peppers deseed and cut into slices. Take an onion , peel and slice. Take about 6 cloves of garlic, peel can leave these whole. Put any kind of chicken you want in the bottom of a roasting pan add onions, peppers, and Garlic. Add one can of diced tomatoes and one can of tomato sauce. Salt and Pepper.cover and bake at 350 degrees for about 4 hours. Serve over rice.

I'm definitely going to keep that recipe! That sounds so yummy. Definitely something I know that I would like. I bet this would also be great to do with beef!
Just told my boyfriend about it and he was like "oh that would be pretty good"...as he licked his lips. haha Thanks for the recipe idea.

I am having chicken and rice (well, arroz con pollo to be precise). We have been eating so much leftover ham from Easter (I think my husband could eat au gratin potatoes with ham everyday, but I need a change of pace!) We will finish the potatoes and ham tomorrow. Though macaroni and cheese does sound yummy! We are out of ice cream :(

Mmmm chicken and rice! Yeah I love the holidays and having left overs. Then, after a while you get really sick of them. A change of pace is a great idea. I made sure to go buy some extra ice cream today. We almost ALWAYS have ice cream here. My boyfriend is an ice cream fiend.

Sounds delicious! I love pasta of any kind...especially where cheese is involved. I actually bought some toasted ravioli today that I saw at the grocery store today. I cannot wait to try them. hope your dinner went well.
