i hate having a toothache, thats the worst pain i have to deal with,

...i have a bad tooth -had it filled-up two years ago but must not be the right thing to do ´coz lately its aching again a little severe in the evening before sleeping -then i would say to myself i will make an appointment with the dentist tomorrow- then i fall asleep...and in the morning have forgotten what i resolved the night before. i know i cannot keep putting it off - but i still am not able to get to it ´til now. my aching tooth is on the left so i sleep sideways on my right -then its aching less and fall asleep. gurgling with warm, salted water also helps.

I have not gone a day or night without pain in 11 years, and it isn't toothache pain. I have fibromyalgia (chronic pain) and experience it every day in various parts of my body. When I am sick with a cold the pain in my back and legs is so brutal I cannot walk. Because of this I am always on both pain medication and sleep medication. As for what sickness do I hate the most? Stomach flu. I hate throwing up. I hate it when my kids get sick and I had a colicky baby who did a lot of throwing up as an infant and even older every time she got a cold. She would get congested in her chest and that would make her sick to her stomach. I just cannot stand the stomach flu. I do everything in my power to prevent myself from getting that - Acid dophilus is an immune booster for the digestive system. I take that twice a day.

Toothaches can be some of the worst pain known to man. I suffered many years with them (on and off). I hate going to the dentist. Have you tried using a cloves. If you put it on the effected tooth it helps relieve the pain sometimes. As for my worst pain now, it would have to be that of migraines, which I get on a regular basis. Somedays, noting makes them any better. I hope you get to feeling better very soon.

I can't believe you brought up this topic because I agree it's hard to get through the night or the day when I have toothe pain. It just seems like it's never going to go away. When I absolutely have to and I had to a few weeks ago I take a pain pill, thank God it worked. I can't seem to be able to do anything when I have a toothache. I can get through a cold with all its symptoms and the flu and even surgery but I agree with you that a toothache is the worst to me.

Same here, I've been suffering toothache lately because I ate the hardest part of the balut. It struck my jaw and broke my pasta, then it opened again and was aching for 3 days now. I try to lessen the pain by taking some pain relievers and antibiotics available here, sometimes it works and sometimes not. Guess I have to see the dentist and ask what to do about this, I hope this gets better soon.

OMG....I can't stand to have a toothache it is equivalent to Labor pains to me. But my entire day is ruined if i have a migraine....mines get so severe I have to have a demerol shot. Luckily I am not as stressed as I used to be but I still have to have peace and quiet and be in total darkness. Oh, and don't get me started on the nausea!

i hate toothaches, too. feels like everything in me is in pain especially my head. my mood isn't also great when suffering from toothaches. and yep, i can't sleep well at night, too.

yes, i do agree. having a toothache makes me cry..that i wanted to bang my head because of the pain..i can't sleep well, that the pain is connecting into my ears going to the head..grrr..i hate it so much..even a strong man, if have a toothache, it will make them cry...lol

of everything i've experienced, i would have to agree with you.. i hate tooth aches! it's really painful and i can't sleep too! specially when my wisom tooth started to grow. but the sickness i hate the most, and thank God I haven't experienced it yet, would be boils! irk!

Migraines and headaches! I have suffered with them since i was a child and as iv got older i believe its related to my sinuses! Its worse on a night time when trying to sleep as its then that i have nothing else to think about so i cant get the pain out of my head! I see stars when i shut my eyes and then i feel sick! Lol i think i need putting in a bag and shaking up! Its not nice though when you feel ill and want to sleep but cant, you know it will have gone by the morning! But its getting there thats the hard part! My sypathys are with you for tooth pain! :)

aside from my occcasional migraine thats the 2nd worst pain for me, it really sucks and as if all your nerves are aching..

We're just the same. I hate having a toothache! If I have to choose between a toothache and a stomach ache, of course everybody would say none. But I may choose the lesser evil. Of all the aching systems inside our body, I hate a toothache.
