Shabab I'm not talking about work. What I mean is are you willing to volunteer that may risk your life, like being a volunteer firefighter, EMS, or with the peace corps...

Of course. I already am a volunteer firefighter and EMT. There is nothing that I enjoy doing more than running calls when the tones drop. There is not a more rwarding feeling in any field.

Risk is foot steps of success. If I can do some thing great on cost of rist of my life I would try to do it well.

Honestly, no. I have my kids and my husnamd to leave behind if I die. If the situatuion asks for it, risking my life, yes I'd do it. But for me to voluntarily offer my service, say be a policeman or firefighter, I wouldn't do it.

I work as a Paramedic and volunteer for a Heavy Rescue Squad. It seems sometime that yes I am taken for granted and I get no recognition but if thats what I did it for I would be miserable. I do it for my community and for the brotherhood of life long friends i have made. If you ever have the opportunity thnan I suggest you try, its amazing what a simple thank you can mean.

Being a volunteer firefighter, EMT, Paramedic, etc. isn't for everyone and I certainly respect those who don't have the calling for it. As for me, I truly enjoy being able to help someone out and offer hope and help in the middle of a crisis. I don't do it for pay, and probably never will. Doing something completely different than what i get paid for is very enjoyable, and knowing I might have helped someone through a hard time is a great reward.
