1. People. Honestly Filipino politicians dont make me feel proud to one. There are some who does good and is doing good for the country... but most politicians arent public servants. they make the filipino people their servants... slaves if i may say cause we are soo working hard just to earn a decent living and they rob us our hard earned money (Taxes) for their personal accumulation of wealth.
2. lost Hope. I always thought we can still improve, people will still change and will still help each see a better "Philippines". If i leave the country - i have had enough!

There's nowhere in the world I'd rather be than in the Philippines! There's no place like home. But when your own home doesn't offer you much and the very people sworn to serve the public are the same person looting and ravaging the community with blatant disrespect...then I'm inclined to find my fortune elsewhere. Sure I'd leave the Philippines but you can bet your bottom dollar that I'll be back because as I've said, there's no place like home. I just hope that if I do leave come back after a few years that karma has already worked its magic and weeded out the corrupt people who had made all our lives so miserable that we had to leave and find work elsewhere in the first place. I just can't help but think of the injustice....corrupt politicians in their posh homes with their luxury cars and their wives wearing glittering bling blings from head to foot while the masses live on less than a dollar a day! Man, I know they'll get what's coming to them...it's just sad that it's not soon enough. Sorry for the rant! I just get all fired up when I think about crooked (is there any other kind?) politicians

i've been living here in hk for almost a year, but given a choice i still want to stay in the phils, i know phils has a lot of problems right now, political, traffic, poverty, crimes etc. . . but still phils is the best for me, let us not blame the governemnt for what is happening in our country better ask ourselves, what have we contribute to the growth of the country, it should start from all of us, have discipline, and respect to each other.

absolutely NO. Im not ghoing to make this reply as a sermon nor to make you realize that Im a hypocryte but to tell you honestly, it should start within ourselves to upgrade the status of our lives in this country. weve been very silent about what is happening and we keep ourselves outdated of the vents that currently happening thouhgh we knew it on ourselves that we are part of it and we have the right to know it.. we could react and be active.. its a fact that life abroad is a sure ball but we all think of it as our own answers to our problems and crisis here.. we wil not going to improve our country..

Of course, after i graduate and earn some experience, i would definitely go abroad, most probably japan coz that is were my bf's sister lives. I can earn a big salary there, not like here in philippines, and also, i want to experience the winter season! :P

Yes and I will take my husband and son with me. I know a Filipino who live in the suburbs of california after 5 years he already have his own big house, that can never happen if I stay here in the Philippines. We'll definitely come back when we're retired, maybe we'll stay in baguio or boracay the reason is because other countries' money are worth more here.

I will leave Philippines because of so many factors.. First and foremost, I don't like the state of POLITICS here in the Philippines, Second, I don't like the attitude of people in the Philippines specially the people who are residing in the provinces (I don't want to mention what provinces are they.) because some of the people in provinces TAKES ADVANTAGE on the local tourist who go there. Third, I don't want the climate.. It is so hot.. Fourth, some people who reside in the Philippines didn't have a good manner/ conduct.. they usually throw their garbages on the side of the road, rivers, lakes and etc. Sorry for my fellow Filipinos if I've cited this, I'm just stating my opinion.. n_n

My answer would be yes too. I guess I will leave this place purely for economic reasons. It is really hard to earn your living at the same time spend your earnings the way you wanted it to be. Mostly goes to household expenses and you really don't have something for yourself to enjoyr from your earnings. But then probably I would like to retire here if I were given a chance to really save from my earnings abroad ans pend it here since there's no place like home.

Yeah, I will leave the Philippines to find my luck in the other country. To look for a greener Pasteur as they say.But I would certainly get back. True, that we have plenty of undesirable elements in the Philippines but the fact remains that there's no such place like home. My family is all here and all the other stuff that I love and cherish and so I can't afford not to turn again or go back to my homeland.

is it leaving for good or do you have an option to return? :)
if given a chance, i'd leave and seek a better opportunity in another country. but philippines will always be a home for me. :)
the main reason for leaving is better employment opportunity which will provide a better lifestyle for me and my family. if such an opportunity is available here, then i don't have any reason to go out of the country except to travel and enjoy life further. :)

Yes definitely but not for a long span of time. i love the tropical nature and the weather here. but inspite of all the good things here the one lacking here is the money and the equal opportunity for all of us to earn money and build a better future for ourselves.

If i will give a chance to go abroad, ill go. But it depends only if im with my family maybe the reason is when its only a vacation, to go shopping, or just for business. I dont like to live in other country for good, maybe because im afraid. I'll just go only just for vacation.
