My friend and i are thinking on starting up an Internet Cafe. What factors do i have to consider on starting up an Internet Cafe? How many Computers do we need first? What are the things do we need to start up?

first is the location..you should choose a location which is accessible to the public..a place where you think a lot of customers will come..like near the scholl, along the main roads,etc...4-5 units of computer is not bad for a starter like you..dont rush on buying alot of units..you could add one unit at a time if you only see the need..you should plan the services that you like to offer in ur internet cafe..internet and gaming services,printing,scanning,typing..things like that.. i hope this helps!good day1

Its always a good idea to start slow and build up. One of my friends started with just two computers and only bought more on a one by one basis, only from profits that the first two were bringing in. Its also a good idea to invest in a few fancy peripherals - scanner, sticker - laminator machine and basics stuff like a printer so you can cater to a range of requests. Also provide associated services like data entry, project typing, logo designing and stuff like that. Its a good venture but do consider that the market is not quite saturated with this service around where you plan to set up to take care of competition.
