Who do you think would be the next best co-host?
I am hoping to see Sherri Shepard take it because I think she is hilarious!
I also think Wanda Stykes would be great to have on too, I think her and Joy would be a great match:)
So, who would you like to see take over Rosie's spot?

Whoopi Goldberg could totally work it as a co-host! I love when she makes guest appearances, but she does "hold her tounge" so to speak on a few things that Rosie doesn't.
All in all, I think she'd make a great co-host!
She is very well informed:)

You know when Starr left the show they had a new host everyday or every few days, I think they should go back to this, I thought it worked out great, having different co-hosts, I was not happy one bit when they picked Rosie, I can't stand her and I am so thankful she is leaving.

they do have a different co host almost every day. barbra is only on once in a while and when she is not there they have a guest co host. so i think they need one more person permanently cause with barbra not there often there would only be elizabeth and joy. 2 new guest hosts every time would get annoying and hard to find that many people to come all the time.

I agree with you, I think Rosie needs to be alone on a show. I think she's great, but she tends to overpower the others sometimes and I don't even think she knows when she's doing it.

i liked rosy so i am sad to see her go but i agree with you. i think sherri shepard would be a great replacement. she was always so funny when she was co host on there once in a while. she's so honest and open about life and is hillarious.

Another Sherri Shepard fan here! I would love to see her get the spot. She is so funny. I saw her interviewed on the Ellen Degeneres one day and she said in the interview that she really loved Ellen and would do "anything" for her. Ellen invited her back and asked her to do a segment trying out the sport of luge. I can't believe she had the guts to try it!! It was hilarious because she was screaming at the top of her lungs the whole way down.
I like Wanda Sykes too (she completely hilarious) but I think she is a regular on the Old Christine show. She was on the Tonight Show recently plugging a comedy tour that she was doing too. It seems like she has a full plate right now.
I read today that Rosanne Barr, Tyra, and even Gayle King could be contenders for the spot. I don't know why Tyra would want to leave her own show. Even Star Jones is rumored to be in the running. I don't see her going back though. I don't see Barbara and her working together anytime in the near future. I wouldn't watch if Susan Lucci got the spot. I find her really annoying. I also don't see her being smart enough to talk about political issues.

Wow, Roseanne Barr would be a really interesting replacement...but I could totally see it working for some reason! I loved her when she was on Bill Mahr's show. She has quite a strong stance on politics too so it would mix things up, that's for sure!

I'm not sure that I would even watch The View after Rosie leaves. They would really have to get someone in there that was just as interesting and controversial to get the same ratings as they have when Rosie is on. Who is Sherri Shepard? I'm not sure...
Gayle King would be interesting, but I'm not sure she could do the job as well as Rosie. They need someone outspoken who is going to talk about things that the other women won't touch.
I wanna see some more feuds! haha

Oh...I have seen her co-host before. I knew who it was as soon as you mentioned the divorce thing. haha. Yes, she is quite funny, I like her.

I've heard Sherri Shephard is in the running, and I too think she would make a great addition to "The View". I don't know about Wanda Sykes, she is pretty busy with her own comedy tour as well as the "Christine Show". Bette Middler would be kind of interesting to add on the show. They said Susan Lucci was up for the role as well, but I don't see her in it.

Oh yes, I could totally see Bette Middler on there! Good choice's!
I agree, I don't see Wanda having enough time to fit The View into her schedule, but she would be good!
I don't know if I'd watch as much if Susan Lucci was on. She was kinda boring to me when she's on as a co-host. And she is always mentioning her line of products on HSN or QVC or wherever she sells it on.

did they ask rosie to leave or did she just decide to leave. I knew it was going to happen. It was just a matter of time. I THINK I WOULD LIKE TO SEE SANDRA BULLOCK ON THERE. SHE IS A GOOD PERSON WHO DOES ALOT OF GOOD FOR OTHERS AND SHES VERY TALENTED AND INTERESTING.

Her contract was up, she had only signed up for a year and they wanted her on for 3 more years, but she wouldn't sign for that long. They wanted her to stay(obviously since she has given the show tons of publicity) but I don't think she likes to commit to jobs for long periods of time.
I'd like to see Sandra Bullock co-host, she's funny and witty:)

I would love to see Sherri Shepard on The View. She is so funny! I always enjoy watching when she is a guest on the show. I am sorry to see Rosie leave though. I like the way she speaks about what is on her mind. She doesn't hold back! And it makes for a great show.

Isn't Sherri Shepard a hoot?LOL! I think she would be an awesome replacement, though I am kinda sad that Rosie's leaving. She brings alot of dynamic to the show in my opinion. I love it when her and Elizabeth get into it too!LOL!

Yes I have heard about Rosie leaving the shaw. Actually my husband told me about it but I don't know the details.
I don't have any opinion on who is going to be next as I never watched the show. I only heard about it because of all the things going on between Rosie and Trump.
