Can Indian cricket team ever dominate world cricket like Australia?

I always wonder what is there so special in the Australian team which makes them the best Team in the world...They have all quality players who never say die...they always keeps their spirits high no matter what the situation might be...so i guess we also need to have that very quality in our team, I can't say that we can ever be able to dominate the world or not but off course yes if we play with our mind and soul we surely one day can be on the top...So hope for the best...

i think that india can't dominate the world cup as australia has done in the last 12 yrs.other teams also have tried their level best to do so.bt there's nothin stopping australia.india is a team of mixed players who have the potential to dominate bt the bcci is the main culprit to pull its legs downwards.it is the politics which has lowered the team management.i think that after 3-4 world cups india can still be able to win atleast 2 world cups. we just have to wait for the right time.!!!

presently no team is capable of dominating the game like australia it would require 10-15 years for an team to develope like present australian team

Reckon any team can achieve that status... it is just that they have the discipline and the right people with less politics... and more so things are going right for them....which is a lot important.. But it sure is a good feelin to be on top....isn't it.... they can definitely be beaten by any team if things go wrong....

in present situation it looks like that not only indian cricket team but every cricket playing country can not touch the standards of australian cricket team........but in future it can be suerly changed ........and india does have talents to do so

Yes Sure, India can reachthe same status. We just need to change the policies. BCCI should have to take some hard decision against players and his management too. Selection commettie must be responsible for good/bad performance of the team. We need professional cricketer who just think about win only. mean they must have positive attitude. No doubt now a days in money is a big matter in cricket but the players has to think that money comes to their doorstep only when they play & win.

We will have to wait, we want patriotic people who will play for 'India' not for 'money'.

come on yaar how can u ever think like that?? u know why autralia keep winning games no, not bcozof their talented players but bcoz of thier agrression which they will never give up till they win,the agression which the australians have in plenty is unknown to indian players so they will keep loosing and if u belive Indians will ever play like australians it is not indian players problem it is urs....

sounds impossible but "impossible itself says i'm possible", so lets hope for better. We need to imporve the root level for this to happen. Select the right players for right role in team.

As far as Australia is concerned, its on a level where every team dreams to reach but to climb up there, it's a tough job. India has the potential to reach there but for this whole BCCI system has to be changed and players should not be kept at ease. Players should earn their way in the team and not enter with their past records. That's the only hope for India to reach up there.
