on spaghetti: do you prefer white sauce over red?

if i were to just eat spaghetti, i like the white sauce with it. if i were to prepare it, the red one, bec, everyone will eat it. white sauce is good for small servings, as many do not prefer it, like in restaurants. i cook spaghetti once a year after new year.

I prefer the red tomato sauce over white sauced spaghetti. I dunno maybe i am just used to eating the red one. White sauced spaghetti seems not a spaghetti to me.

red or white sauce are great for me... i can enjoy tomato sauce pasta with meatballs for spaghetti, macaroni and lasagna. white sauce for seafoods is so irrisitable and for herb pasta with pesto sauce. sometimes when i make homemade ziti i'll mix the tomato meatballs sauce to the pasta then have a white sauce for toppings before serving. this makes a great combination too.

I like the red sauce. I usually put a bay leaf in it, and I prefer it a little spicy rather than just tomaty.

I like both but prefer the red sauce. I dunno why, maybe because i am used to it that white sauced pasta sort of taste a bit weird. Well, red sauce is much more tastier and meatier. And yeah i cook my own sphagetti to suit my taste buds.

It's red sauce for me! I like red sauce that when i eat anything that's with white sauce i try putting ketchup on it if i could. At home i put ketchup so at least i'd like it more than if it was just white sauce. Hehe. I looove cooking spaghetti. It's just too time consuming sometimes though that i don't want to cook it anymore. ^_^

Red one. Tomatoes and some spices are ok. I usually like to use a lot of spices at my sauces. But sometimes i make white mayonnaise sauce too. Or a specific combination between them.

I prefer red sauce. I love tomatoes and the richness of the sauce but it's also very healthy.

I always make homemade red sauce, so I would have to say red is my favorite. I do like to go to buffets where they have both and then I mix them. I really like both.

I'd really rather have red sauce although I have tried white sauce. White sauce is okay, but I enjoy making pasta sauce from jars and adding a can of diced tomatoes. I then add some sugar to the mixture. I usually like to eat rigatonis or shells with my red sauce and sometimes I put on grated cheese.

I make my own spaghetti... I like red sauce. I have never had white sauce. What is it? Do you have a good recipe for it?

We like both types of sauces, but it depends on what type of pasta we're having. I make spaghetti with red sauce. I use Francisco Rinaldi super mushroom spaghetti sauce and add cooked ground beef. We rarely eat "plain" spaghetti anymore as we prefer baked spaghetti. It's really good. I actually started making it a couple of years ago because it could be done one-handed and I had a broken wrist in a cast up to my shoulder. For baked spaghetti, you make regular spaghetti, but layer it in a baking pan like lasagna. Start with a little sauce on the bottom of the pan, then put a layer of spaghetti dropped in little piles, top with sauce, then cheese (cheddar/jack is really good on this), then another layer of spaghetti, sauce, cheese. Bake at 375 for half an hour. My family loves this!

i prefer red sauce with my pasta. but since my doctor had advised me not to eat tomato products, that is definitely a no no to red sauce. though i also like white sauce. actually it depends on my mood which sauce i prefer when eating spaghetti. i cook my own spaghetti sauce. but if offered in parties or gatherings i eat them. cause there you'll learn new recipes for the spaghetti sauce.
