Hi every one do you know what the recipe for bubble stuff is My granddaughter will be coming over quite often during the summer and she loves to use the big bubble wand, the stuff that is sold in the 64 0z bottle is crap . I know there is a formula that calls for water dish soap and glycerin, does any one have it I would really appreciate it We call it our grandma and granddaughter bubble therapy. Thanks a lot.

I think this is the recipe you are looking for: 1/2 cup Dawn or Joy 4 1/2 cups water 3 or 4 tablespoons glycerin My daughter is 13 and still likes to make bubbles every now and then. We have a 'silly day' a couple of times a year where we let loose and have a lot of fun acting like little kids.

Thank you this sounds about right I knew the ingredients and had no idea what the proportions were. as well I can't remember why the glycerin was necessary but I know that it is and you get real good long lasting bubbles. We thank you Aubrey age 6 and Robin age 64. Never to old for bubbles

Isn't it just dish soap and water Robin? I think Joy was the one my mother always used to use.

This is the one I used to use when the kids were little...but I don't remember it having corn syrup. I used to love to do homemade play-do with the kids too. Enjoy your grandaughter. I like that you call it therapy, that's awesome. Bubbles Ingredients : 1 c. lemon dishwashing liquid 1 tsp. glycerin 1 c. white corn syrup 5 c. water Preparation : Mix all ingredients well. Can be used right away, but better if allowed to set overnight. This one I found at: http://www.exploratorium.edu/ronh/bubbles/formulae.html 2/3 cup Joy dishwashing soap 1 gallon water 2 to 3 tablespoons of glycerine (available at the pharmacy or chemical supply house.)

Regards Robin
