Well I have heard of precocious puberty and that would make it possible. I think it is sad that someone would do that to a child though. I have never heard anyone that young. I think I had heard of someone being 11. My mom was 14...not with me..she was forced to put her up for adoption.

I have never heard of that but I know of an elleven year old giving birth. I met her during my stay at the hospital right after the birth of my son, she was roaming the halls alone and stoped to say hi. I was freaking out when she told me her age, I asked were was her family and she responded by saying "they don't want anything to do with my pregnancy!" I wasin AHHH....I think that's the one thing that will stick with me for the rest of my life, I mean I have met alot of people from time to time but this eleven year old is definantly one to remember.

I was pregnant at 14 years old and went to a school that girls went to in order to help lower the drop out rate. I know I was young. But even while I was there, I saw a girl come in that was only in 6th grade! My heart broke then watching her walk around with a big baby belly and be so tiny herself! Thanks for sharing! I have heard that 10-11 year olds can become pregnant but I never heard that children at 5 years of age can become pregnant and conceive a child. It's totally news for me.

I don't think i've ever heard of anyone under 10 giving birth/being pregnant. I just don't see how it's possible, since a female can't get pregnant unless she's started her period and i don't know of anyone who's had their period much under 10 years old. Unless maybe the 5 year old girl was an unusual case and had started her period really, really early?

I have never heard of anyone that young giving birth to a child. I know high school girls get pregnant and have children but never heard of anyone below high school age to have children. I am shocked to hear that since I did not think that their bodies were fully developed yet to have children.

I don't believe that 5 years old girl can give birth... Anyway who knows maybe it's true.. if some genetic mutation are added..

I've never heard about a 5 year old giving birth, and anyhow I think it's oretty much impossiable. However I have heard about the 9 year old giving birth- I think it was somewhere in south america.

I remember reading about a 5 or 6 year old in the early 1900s who had a kid, and then her parents raised it as her brother. I don't remember how she got pregnant though.
