THe first food I ever cooked was an accidental recipe. Then I even made a name out of it.
One day I felt like eating a food that would satisfy my appetite. I went to the kitchen and found nothing. So I looked up to some of the ingredients inside the refrigerator then back to the kitchen. I gathered and prepared my own ingredients and cooked my own recipe. I call it Rice Doria... The food that has rice in it..
That was the first food I cooked.
What about you? What was the first food you ever cooked?

This was back when I was much younger and living in a different state. We were having dinner with the family and we had rice, stew, and chicken. I decided to eat the chicken first and while I ate it, I accidentally swallowed the chicken skin and it got stuck in my throat. It was hard for me to cough it up so my sister had to pull it out. Man, I can still remember the feeling I had in my throat afterwards. I learned my lesson after that, chew your food and then swallow. :P

The first thing I ever cooked....hmmm. I used to watch my mom make biscuits from scratch all the time, and when I was about 8 or 9, I waited 'til she jumped in the shower one day and went to work on my biscuits. Of course she came out of the shower screaming when she saw what i'd done. I used sugar instead of salt and I don't even know what else. They came out hard as a rock but she made my dad eat every last one of them.

The first thing I ever cooked was a grilled cheese sandwich. I learned a lot of things that day. I learned that you never cook anything on high. You don't have to butter every single side of each piece of bread. And it's always a good idea to have a fire extinguisher handy. LOL

What did it have in it besides rice??? What else was in your fridge? I don't remember the first thing I ever cooked because I love to cook so much. I would love to be able to be a personal chef for someone as a career. I absolutly love recipes and new ideas. I guess I am over the top, huh!!!??

The first thing I ever cooked would have to have been an apple pie I cooked for my french class, my freshman year of high school. It was fun to make something from a different country. I even took a picture of it because I was so proud of myself.

In India boys are not allowed in general to enter Kitchen! It is presumed that it is the job of a girl to cook! Though now with the changing times the trend is getting changed!
I am 48 today , I recall when I was about 16 years old and i was in XI th standard , I often used to be hungry during that time, now I understand that it was because of the age when the demands are maximum, I used to get hungry so frequently! One day I was hungry and no body was at home to feed me!
I entered Kitchen and found nohing bit eggs lying there , I tried tp orepare omlet. I broke open the egg added a pinch of salt and red Chiiles to it and put some groundnut oil on the pan and ignited the stove and after few minutes I poured the whole mixture and the mixture got pluffy and I stopped the stove and my omlet was ready!
The omlet thus I prepared was having the taste of raw ouil as the iol was not completed heated up before my pouring the mixture! The omlette was too salty and too hot because of excessive chillies and inspite of all these things the Omlette tasted so good for two reasonms , first I was hungry and second was that was my first dish ever I tried in the Kitchen !
I still feel as if this incidence has occured a few yers back or so! When ever I remember thius first dish of mine I have a smile on my face! Thansk for taking me into my swwt past ! May God bless you!

I don't like to cook. My first food is when I am 11 year old, it called "Sayur Bening" in Indonesian language. It is a kind of vegetables, and extremely easy to create.

I want to say that the first food I ever cooked was toast. When ever my parents cooked a big breakfast for us I always was allowed to make the toast. Cinnamon toast was always my favorite kind to make. As I got older I was allowed to move onto scrambled eggs an so forth. By the time I was seven I could cook full meals by myself.
