Wanted to share with Mylot, my son has arrived!!!

I've been gone about a week now after an extremely intense time trying to bring my son into the world, and now he is here! I labored at home with my midwife, who ended up causing complications with her interventions, was transferred to the hospital after 20 hours of labor and 3 hours of pushing. He was wedged crooked in the birth canal... actually, I don't want to go into detail about all the complications, but we had a beautiful ceaserian birth and spent two days in the hospital. We both did so well they let us go home early. Jonah is a week old today, and so beautiful! thanks so much for all the well wishes, and i look foreward to posting about my beautiful boy!
Jonah Sailor Gray arrived April 26, 2007 at 3:41 p.m.
He weighed 7 lbs. 7 oz
He has light brown hair and bluish purple eyes

Congratulations on your new baby. Is this your first? I have one. A girl. She is almost 11 months. She is growing up so fast!! Enjoy your baby!!

AHHH! Congratulations! I LOVE the name! I am all about original and unusual type names! Nice healthy size...I bet he is beautiful! Take care of him and of yourself. I am glad it all went well.

I'm sorry though that you had so many complications but I'm glad that the both of you are doing okay in the end :)

Congratulations! I'm glad to see you picked out a name, I remember a discussion about this a few weeks ago. I'm sorry to hear the problems you had during birth, but am very glad things worked out okay. I had problems when I had my son and I think it makes me appreciate him even more, plus it makes for a good story. Congratulations, MOM! :)

Yes i know its just wonderful to bring a new individual in this world who is a part of u.And to see him grow by every passing day is even better.

congratulations astromama... i'm glad to hear that both the mum and baby are safe and healthy... best wishes for you and your baby and may God bless you abundantly... enjoy your new role as a mother and please post the pic of your baby in mylot so that all of us can see him... i'm waiting to become a mum as well if God allowed me... hopefully, this year...

Congrats Congrats!!!! I am sorry you had a rough time. It is too bad the midwife caused problems. Thank God you were able to go and deliver at the hospital and everything turned out so well.

Congratulations on the birth of your baby boy!! Was this your first child? I had complications after the birth of my first child. But eventually I went on to have a second child 3 1/2 years later. It was all worth it!
Enjoy that new baby boy. They grow up way too fast!
