She have collected much of the teenie beanie babies and the hello kitty ones, the Power Ranger toys...The snoopy collection was crazy. People would buy McDonalds for the snoopy then throw away the food...ha ha...
She used to collect the miniature beanie babies. I still love them. If McDonalds came out with more miniature beanie babies she would be the first in line to get more... LOL. They are so cute.:)Her favourite is the fish.
Actually i think it is a waste of money to spend on but that time guess i am like the toys so much as they are cute and adorable...lol!
Does your kids collect something??

My own boys are too old to collect toys. My oldest son likes to work on cars. While my youngest son likes anything to do with weather. My girlfriend has three younger children. This year they started to collect Littest Pet Shop toys. The have hundreds of those tiney animals. Every time we go to the store the look to see if there are any new ones out. The have the whole McDonalds sets as well. They boys collect Hotwheel and Matchbox cars as well. The have been collecting those since the were about two so there are hundreds of different cars.

My little one collects everything, yes I do mean everything:-) LMAO ..... If you are missing anything from shoes to hats to a brush, it really don't matter what, you can rest assure that she will be the one to have taken it. She will have it all in one bag & placed in a corner where she can get to it when need be. LOL:-) When asked if she seen whatever it is you may be looking for, she will simply smile & say nothing! Ya gotta luv the kids:-) Great Question.

My son used to collect action figures from the movies, He had Ghostbusters and Alien figures mainly, but they very quite an expensive item to collect, so we managed to convince him to collect Matchbox cars instead. He ended up with over 100

Well i do not have kids yet, and i am not married, but i am 34 years old and i still collect mcdonald toys and build toys that come in the kinder eggs, it is well known that i am infantile, but yet i do enjoy every moment of it. Lol. I do think that it is an important thing to play with toys, it helps us as an adults and as children. I do not know what age is your daughter but i am sure she and i can find alote of things in common:)

How old is your daughter? I have a two year old son and he collects hotwheels cars. He likes the toys in McDonald happy meals too though most of the time, I'm the one eating the food while he plays with the toys. I like the beanie babies too, I bought 2 of them for my son but he's not really into stuffed toys as he like cars better.

Nope. not yet, but he'll be born in August, so I"m sure he may start then. We told ourselves that we wouldn't take him to fast food very often so he doesn't get used to it as an older person and become obese. :)

Well I don't blame them throwing the food away LOL. If I started eating it again, I would probably have another heart attack!
Kids always like things that seem a waste of money to us adults, but if we look around us, how many gadgets and stuff to we have that we never use? I sold most of my junk on ebay! What's left I'm either going to dump or take to a charity shop. At least it can be said that kids play with their toys most of time until something better comes along that is.

I don't have any kids :)) but i do have someone in my family that collects McDonald toys. It's my little brother, recently he purchase a spinning device , don't ask me what it does he plays with his friends they have contests to see which has the best device :).
I also remember that I collected the micro-machine series and a superhero cartoon series for him. I just bought the Happy Meal for the toy , I think fries were the only food that I have eaten . I consider McDonald food is not so good for our health anyway I can see many people at the store when I'm passing by.
Another thing that my brother collects are dinosaur toys and army/western soldiers :) which I have to admit were mine :))))

Oh, I remember that collecting of the McDonald's beenie babies. We had so much fun trying to get all the different ones. I was wanting them as much as my kids where. I would get the kids theirs to play with and have as a collection. Then I would get me one to keep in the bag as I was sure they were going to be worth lots of money some day. They used to be, but I think when the Ty Beanies went down in value, so did the McDonalds ones. But, it was a fun time.

hi my friend,
mine have both got a thing for collecting the McDonalds toys they love them all. Of course the collection is not uniform or organised but it certainly is fun. Lol i think they would be better served throwing the food away and keeping the toy and throwing the food away too.
Blessed be

I remember when my daughter was younger and we would ask what she wanted she would say Happy Meal oh yeah of course all they want is the toys and not caring for the food oh what a waste. I agree with you its a waste of money and besides that they didn't have them when I was younger and I know my parents wouldn't buy them. We had thrown so many away because its just laying there.

Hi Augustta, When my son was smaller he collected pez dispensers. He has so many of them. He also collected superballs. When he was about 3 years old, he would get a quarter for an allowence. Every week we would go to the grocery store he would spend his quarter on a superball. We now have most of them packed away for his children (far in the future) to have.

When my daughter was a baby I started her a collection of beanie baby bears. She has everyone that has come out. There are a couple that are exra special because they mark certain periods of time in her life. She no longer cares about them as much and has started to collect different stuff animals. My sons collect anything and everything. As long as it is a boy toy the want it.

I used to collect the snoopy world series. I remember myself back then sparing my lunch and recess money to go to McDonalds at the end of school and buy a Happy meal. McDonalds was way too expensive in my country, and parents doesn't let themselves be persuaded by their kids to go to McDonalds, no matter how much they cried. It was a big sacrifice on my part to try to collect every item in the collection that eventually my mom caved in and asked her friend (who was then a manager at McDo) to sell her the excess toys at the end of the promo period. Those toys were very special for me because it was back then that I learned how to make tremendous sacrifices to get what I want. I collected more than half of the toys and my mum filled in the rest.

My kids collect lint and pet dander. But seriously, the only thing I ever collected at a fast food joint (apart from unhealthy eating habits) was those litlte Z-Bots action figures. Ah, I remember those. I can't believe they don't have a website. I lost the little guy with the drill for an arm, though. Then I found him. Then I lost him again. And I lost the football guy's arm. I still have those little figurines. They're pretty neat to look at. I remember when all those goofy 90s people were in line waiting for those beanie babies which you can get out of dollar bins nowadays, and thinking I wanted to get as far away from there because I was so embarrassed that people were actually waiting around in line for this stuff. I'm embarrassed a lot.
