So Is Locke dead or not?

I was pretty surprised to see locke get shot but i don't think he'll die, I hope not anyways. I can't wait to see it next week but then it's sucks cause we have to wait till next season to watch again. I hate waiting..lol

I have no idea whether Jacob is an alien or a demon or how Jacob's mind works. If that is the case, Locke might not get any help from him. However I suspect that Jack or one of the Losties will probably find him and I doubt that Locke's route is fatal. Maybe Alex will help since she probably knows about Jacob. His real name is probably unpronounciable in human terms) and will follow her father. Anyway, we watched it on Canadian Television which does not show the next week's highlights so I have no idea what will happen if he is saved or not.

I think that is supposed to be part of the suspense. I think he will live because he is one of the most important characters. It would be easeir for the show to kill off Jack now because he has less of a role.

Certainly Locke will not die,he is one of the most popular person...

I think Locke is seriously hurt but I doubt he will die. We all of plenty of time to ponder over the mysteries of this island and inhabitants. The projected end date is 2010.

If Jacob thinks John is worthy he will save him and you can bet that Ben will then be punished for his actions. I'm 50-50 on whether or not to believe that this is the end of John. He is an important character but I am not naive enough to believe that the fact that he is a popular character will keep the writers from killing him off. Definitely can't wait for the next episode!

I think he's gonna live. Much more, I think the island is going to cure him. There's some kind of connection that Locke has with that island and I hope we find out what it is. Last night's episode showed me that Locke was, at least, not as insane as Ben and still has some wits about him, even though he got shot.

I saw some screen captures on a fan site and you can definitely see that Locke was shot in the abdomen, not in the chest, so the injury should not be life threatening. And with the island's amazing curative properties (especially for Locke), I'm guessing he'll survive. Plus he's one of the most intriguing characters... even Ben is convinced he's 'special.' And yes, Ben is really a twisted dude... I don't know if a team of psychiatrists could straighten him out!

That episode that showed Ben from the little boy on- man he is a screwed up guy! I love that he thinks that Locke is something magical- I think John Locke will survive- but I think it will happen in the season finale- I don't think it will wait until next season! I can't wait for this week! I'm hoping that Jacob saves him somehow-- and possibly proves Ban a fraud also!

I think Locke will be rescued. By whom I have no idea, but I don't think they are goingt o write him out just yet. What was up with Jacob though? That completely freaked me out! I thought Ben was making the whole thing up and completely nuts until the poltergeist activity started!

I task that Locke is a crucial personage of the series and that therefore they will carry it until to the end of the television film

I say Locke wont die. If Ben goes back without him the others are going to get suspicious, theyre looking to him now as a fresh breath of air, so Im not sure they'd just take what ben says as the truth.

I think Locke won't die, since he seems to be connected to the island in some metaphysical way.

I am not sure about that at all because I haven't heard of it before. I think it would be interesting to see the results and how it'll turn out.
