depression for me was tough .earlier 2 or three yrs befor when istarted to feel the depression i found happiness in eating .i eat a lot without stopping and i lost my hunger though lot yoga and meditaion has helped me to get over from depression but the habbitof overeating is still with in me and it is in fact affectng my life a lot.i dont want depend upon any body and i dont consider modern medicine as
a solution in fact iam against medicines so i will not consider any psych i wll solve it myself.

When I depressed sometimes I eat, sometimes I sleep but most of the time I look at my two children and realize that my life could be a lot worse than it is. Also, I have spend a lot of time praying that things will get better.

I have been going through a lot this year...what a long depressing year it has been. But what i have noticed is that when i am depressed i just want to be left alone. I dont want to speak with anyone and i have a hard time eating as well. It is almost like i look at the food and get hungry but i cant seem to eat it..i dont know it is weird but that is how i feel.

I tend to want to sleep as a way of escaping, I suppose. When I feel this way, I try to get up and go somewhere, even if I don't feel like it. At times, sleeping has actually helped me to feel better, so it isn't always useful to avoid sleeping.

Sometimes, it helps to just go for a walk and breathe some fresh air. though, it is not always easy to do so when somebody is depressed.

When I've got a depressing I take around and listened the music, so my mind will be clear. How about you tellus?

What helps me pull myself out of depression is to be thankful. I know when one is sad that it is very hard to be grateful & thankful but if you just try it, you may see a difference! I recently was having a horrible life a few months ago and i was feeling like I am never going to catch a break in life and through the powers that be, I was told of this book called "The Secret" by Rhonda Byrne..its a great book and its changing my life. If you like to read I would strongly suggest reading this, its knowledge and power you will take with you the rest of your life!! The book taught me to re focus my thinking when I am feeling down, it said to start thinking of things I was greatful for and for me it was everyday things I had been taking for granted like having 2 eyes, 2 ears, 2 arms, 2 legs, 2 lungs still working in perfect conditon!! There are so many people out there in the world who don't have 2 of everything that should have!! You have the power to change you so don't ever feel powerless:)

haha,when i feel upset,i just listen to some music i like very much or talk to friends.or else i just go out for a walk .don't u think it a good way to reduce depression?

Well i take it every weekend and at during festival months i never miss vacations, that my best depression relieving out of mechanical life.
