I've been working on scrapbooking for years and it's one of the few things that brings me a lot of enjoyment. I have pictures from when my parents were kids and love making interesting looking pages to put them in.
My favorite gift to give family members is a smaller album with pictures of their kids mixed in with everyone else's and all of the good times we've enjoyed together. I always hope that one day their kids will look back at them when their older and have good memories of their childhoods.
Do you have a favorite crafting project that you enjoy? Do you share your crafts with friends and family?

My family has more crocheted afghans that either I or my mom has made than any of us will ever use! Their really great fun to make and the feeling of accomplishment when their done is awesome isn't it?

I like to make Christmas ornaments from a variety of things. Last year I made some really cool ones from felt that were stuffed and buttons and other embellishments were added to them. When I tell people that I am into crafts they always seemed shocked; I guess I don't look like the kind of person that is into crafts but then again .. it's hard to peg people based on how they look (and be accurate at it)

Christmas ornaments are the most fun and I find the easiest to make. Every year I make at least a couple if not for myself then for others.

I do a lot of crafts, but my favorite is scrapbooking. It's relaxing, and it's such a nice way to display pictures. I love showing off my pages to friends and family.

I'm interested in scrapbooking and have never done it before. I found a store downtowm umm Michaels or something and they have lots of scrapbooking things to start off with (mostly on sale, my kinda shopping!). I wasn't sure where to start and so I chose a few colored backgrounds, then a travel set and a life set that had already made things in them, includes words, designs and things like that. They have been sitting on my dining table for two days now as I'm how to start. Any pointers would be much appreciated! I was also thinking of creating a few shadow boxes and putting souvenirs, and ticket stubs and a few photos of our recent trip we had to Connecticut, and when my husband returns from Africa, I was going to create another one. I am so excited but unsure where or how to start!

Michaels is a big crafting store around here and they always have the best prices, sale or no sale.

This idea is really for the kids. I thought of doing this with my son on one rainy day. I got a couple pieces ofall white paper and taped them together to give my son a bigger surface to work on. I got him old magazines, stickers, babeball cards, etc...he designed a beautiful collage with all of those things and we have it hanging ohn our fridge. He loves it, and it really gave him a nice opportunity to think outside the box and do whatever he wanted to create a collage that he loved.

i also have been working on scrapbooking for quite a few years now my scrapbook is done on all of my animals i also like to knit, sew, cross stitch, latch hook, make jewelry, and many other crafts to pass the time i like being self reliant and making my own things rather than having to rely on buying them from the store often times it is cheaper to make your own but i do not know what would be my favorite crafting project i really do like them all
