Ok, i'm talking about money here again.
I just want to know how many of you here borrow money and does not pay it right away. Do you wait for them to ask you first before you will pay them. And if they don't ask you, will you just forget about it. I have encountered people already that will just forget about the money they borrowed. For me, I am a good payer and I will always remember the money I owe from other people and see to it that I will pay them. It's my conscience anyway that will bother me if I am not going to pay.
How about you, are you a good payer?

I am a good payer. If I borrow money from someone I pay them back as soon as I possibly can. If I am not able to pay them right away then I let the person I borrowed from know that I still remember and I will give it back to them when I can. I hate it when others don't pay me back so I make sure I don't treat others this way.

I pay right away when I can. If I am behind on my payment, I tell my friend to give me a few more days, I do not just say nothing. I do not want any animosity coming out of the money lending between friends, so I keep in touch. My friend and I we lend money back and forth with each other...she does the same thing. She givesd me a heads up if she is runnign behind on payment. It is a good gesture and common courtesy, you borrow- you have to pay. If you cannot meet the deadline, let them know. It makes it easy for them to make the same transaction ith you in the near future knowing you can be trustworthy.

Ya sure. I am a good payer. I dont like to owe others money. People forget the fact that the thing that they do to others, will be done on to them some times later. If we take money from someone else and dont repay back then we will loose our money in some useless thing.

It is not my nature to borrow money. I only lend money to people whom I can easily chase, LOL! My parents taught me the value of money at an early age. I avoided putting myself at a position with a lot of debt.
I requested my credit card company to give me the lowest minimum. I paid all my billing statement on time. I make sure to set aside money for future use. I don't think I need to add financial issues in my already stressful life.

Oooooh, I get soooo impatient. Whenever I borrow money (I usually avoid borrowing money. I hate it). I have to return it, that's my first priority. I just don't like borrowing money and not returning as early as possible. It drives me crazy and it will be in my mind all the time until I repay back.

yes i am... i hardly borrow money from other people though and i always the one lending people money... i always make a point to return the money as a specific time that i promise the person to return it... for me, a promise is a debt that we have to keep as well and i am the same like you... i won't feel good if i have to wait for the person to ask me back for the money before i pay him/her back... it is just not right...

"neither a lender or borrower be" that is a phrase that I try to stay with. If I was ever to borrow money from a friend it would be paid back ASAP. I pay my bills on time so I have A1 credit.

I am a good payer. I keep note of the money that i have borrowed from my friends, relatives and other sources and pay them regularly. If i am not able to pay them the full amount, i request them and pay them the amount that i can. If we dont pay the money correctly, they may not help us in the future, even in case of emergency. So it is better to pay the borrowed money without fail.

I tend to not borrow money from people. I usually have enough and don't need to ask friends or family for money. I do have a mortgage through a bank, and have used credit cards. i ALWAYS pay my credit card off at the end of the month. Adn I always pay my loans on time, and usually pay more than the required monthly payment. I try not to overextend my spending, or spend beyond my means.

I have borrowed from friends and I always pay them back -- it may be in small amounts over time, but I do it no matter what. I have only ever lent money to my parents, and I never expected to get it back anyway. In fact, if I can't afford to lose that money I don't lend it. I also try to understand why they want the money and why they don't have it already. If they just want $20 so they can buy a CD or something, then they can wait until they have their own money. If they have been in a car accident and need money for food, I'd just buy the food & say "forget it." Usually I don't have any money to lend these days, but I also believe what Shakespeare wrote, "Neither borrower nor lender be . . ."

The few times that I have borrowed money from someone else I have always made sure that I paid them back right away.I don't think that the person who loaned me the money should have to ask me when they are going to get their money back. I know how it feels to loan someone money and not have them pay me back so I wouldn't want to treat someone else that way.I live by the motto do unto others as you would have done to you.

I always pay back what i owe to people ASAP. I dont recall borrowing any money in the last 8 years though. ive been lucky so far in people returning my money to me early too. I have always lent to a friend and have never had to ask for it back.
