I have never thought it's a shame thing for a man to cook. Actually it's a very proud thing. My dad and husband can cook. When my mom and I have something else to do and can't cook, then they will be happy to do it. Here it's very normal. A woman can go to work outside and go home to cook, it's the same for a man. I have to say that sometimes men can cook better than women, but I don't know why.

well for me its not a shame to a man to cook its a plus factor if the man knows how to cook and knows how to do different household chores...actually my father is a good cook though he's not a chef...the man should be proud of especially if he knows how to cook different kinds of recipes :)

When I was growing up it was my father who cooked most of our meals. I never thought of it as a shame. He was the one who was home at the time so he did it. My fiancee cooks very little. He isn't that good of a cook but will cook a meal if I am not feeling well. I think that whoever is the most comfortable doing the cooking should be the one to cook no matter if they are male or female.

i dont think so. my dad is a very good cook. my family is running a canteen business and when we were just starting, my dad does all the cooking. we have lots of costumers that really like my father's cooking. my mom only knows basic dishes but its my dad who's very inovative and experimental in the kitchen. in so proud of him. my parter right now is also cooks yummy dishes. i love it when he cooks my favorite dishes.

I dont think its shameful for a man to cook either. Theres nothing wrong in sharing responsibilities of the house together. And specially in this age of double income where both husband and wife are working the onus of cooking has to be shared.

What's so shameful for a man to cook? Do you know most of the Top chef in the world are men?
Anyway, I often cook for my family, during weekends. And I can safely say that I can cook better than my wife! LOL!!

No I dont think it is shameful for a man to cook. My husband sometimes helps with cooking or cooks the whole meal. He is a very good cook. He usually will cook on hid day off from work. When he is working I have dinner ready when he arrives home. I dont think he should have to cook on the days he works. I love taking care of him.
