I have started a few conversations, but I tend to respond to others conversations. Usually because when I come up with a topic, it appears someone has already started a topic on the subject that I was going to start a conversation. I haven't had very many responses to the ones that I have started. So I guess I am not too good at started discussions, just replying.

as long as the discussion you've started is meaningful or interesting, you'll get more reply.I believe you can make it.GOOD LUCK

I have since started at least a conversation a day for the past week, or at least every other day. Granted still not getting a lot of responses on some of the discussions I started. I have got several discussions with over 30 that I started. I always try to reply to any responses that I have gotten. But the one's with over 30 I have to keep responding to a little at a time.

Sometimes i like to support the discussions of the others. coz i think the topic one can start is limited.

Normally the most I'll post in a day are one or two discussions but many days I don't post any at all. I just find it difficult to come up with fresh topics so it's easier for me to respond to friend's discussions.

I take awhile to come up with a discussion. I prefer to respond to other's discussions because most people would take the words out of my mouth and I don't want to put up the same discussion again.

usually it's difficult to start a new meaningful topic so response to the other's is a good choice.

i like to reponse more than i like to post, even though i post once a whole too depend on what i learn and what i can come up with to post, response is alot easier and alot more stuff to reponse to than making a post, but making a post is not bad neither

Like you, I started out by mainly starting my own discussions but lately I found myself just responding to the discussions of others. (I usually have started discussions about issues that I care about or an injustice that I feel needs to be taken on. So the discussions that I start usually, I explain the situation in great detail.) So starting a discussion takes a lot of effort only to see the discussion be presented for a few minutes then disappear from sight. Responding is so much easier.

hmm.. i'm the reversal of you.. first i prefer to response to other's discussion, but later, i can't find any interesting discussion that i want to response, so i start my own discussion :D but now, i'm lack of idea to start a new discussion, so maybe i'll just find a discussion that might interest me.
