Oh no! I have to pee!

Well the worst I have ever experienced is holding it in for 6 hours straight it was a trip to illocos "somewhere in the north of our island luzon" it was 8 hour trip I guess or more and I had to keep it in because we were at the very back of the bus and it was overcrowded and I was so sick on my way to a faith hearler "my mom belives in them so I had no choice hahah" my GOD when I reached his house in the middle of nowhere I stayed in the bathroom for and hour, no one dared to disturbed me or I would lash out a trantrum "hey I was just 10 then" that was the worst. And yes it will give problems to your Urethra and Kidneys imagine ignoring bodily functions like that for hours will reek havoc in your internal functions.

holding one's pee for a long time is bad for the kidneys, that's why when making a long trip, one has to take precautionary measures. For long trips that will run for 10 hours or more, it's best to choose buses with its own toilets. Otherwise, warn the bus conductor that you have to "leave the room" as often as possible. I am fortunate because my bladder control works wonders...I pee only at least three times a day..in the morning, noon, then evening. Once I have visited the toilet, that's it...I can hold longer than other people. That's why in long trips, I don't have much of a problem...Next time you're caught in that situation, be sure you lessen your water intake to minimize trips to the C.R.

i had such an experience and that's really terrible. many yeas ago, i went to college by bus. it was a two-hour trip but the driver didn't stop for us to go to a comfort room. at that time i was too shy to ask the driver to stop the bus though there were some toilets on the way. i had to try hard to hold till we got to the destination.

Oh yeah.i had that experience too.I coudn't imagine how missarable it is.I remember one time when i and husband went to to major car racing .It was a huge croud ,every body has to stay on the long line.When comes to turn i feel like my bladder is almost going to exploxe! It's horrible.. I was wondering for those who has incontinence problem how are they going to hold their pee for so long,they probably will pee on the pan.. Holding your pee for too long certainly is bad for your kidney!

Ah yes I get this all the time... I absolutely dread going on long journeys because I know I'll end up bursting to pee! I think holding it is good for you - It's supposed to make your bladder bigger or something. :0*

Yes and it is a horrible feeling I must say. It is definately bad for your health to hold it in for long periods of time. it's like not emptyig your bin at home, eventually it will start growing nasties on it and attract undesirable bugs, holding your pee for too long can also cause undesired effects such as water infections, cystitus ect. It would be nice for e facilities to be readilly available but unfortunately that is not always the case.

Most people would have experienced this situation and I am no exception. It is just natural process and one should not control it for longer period. In winter, the frequency is higher and also those whose intake of liquid is high. Also some people who have some internal disorder like kidney problem, they do go for nature calls.

This past weekend my husband decided we should go to the beach which is an hour and a half away. I'm 36 weeks pregnant and have to pee about every 30 minutes. Well we were 30 minutes from home when I had to pee really bad but there were no exits on the highway for a while then we made a turn in the road and there sat was an hour of traffic. We had an empty bottle of v-8 juice that we cut a hole in and then stuck towels in the windows of the car. I had to pee in this bottle that was cutting into my butt. It was not fun and I refuse to ever travel that far again.
