I really don't follow any kind of diet right now, but I probably should. I am more of a meat, bread and potato person. I do not follow a healthy diet but i sure wish that I could. I know I would look and feel alot better about myself if I did. I consider healthy foods to be fruits and vegetables but I will eat them along with my meat, bread and potatoes.

Food is fuel for the body and as close to the garden we can eat the better. I do enjoy desserts and some sweets. Like bread a bit much. Soda is a treat enjoyed in moderation. I eat meat regularly also since it is part of a balanced diet in reality. Balance in all things is my motto and strive to be that the majority of the time.

I try to eat as healthy as possible, but do you notice that the healthier one does want to eat the more expensive it is??? LOL I'm not one for a lot of fatty or fried foods, not unless I want to get bouts of gastritis which I did suffer from for years..once I eliminated a lot of the fried foods it disappeared...I do eat meat since I have a blood sugar problem...I would go veggie, and I did for a while back in my college days...and guess what? That's what triggered my blood sugar problem...to try to get my equivalent of protein from soy products is a no can do thing with me as I tend to be soy intolerant---But all in all I do try to eat as healthy as possible...I don't drink soda..haven't in years and instead drink a lot of juices, I eat a fair amount of fruits and vegetables--so I think my diet is healthier that most people

I'm not a vegetarian but i will try to less meat and more vegetables for healthy purposes.
I won't consider my self follow exactly the rules of healthy diet, but i usualy pretty much watch out my diet each day.In addition i do take supplement as well.
I won't practice extreme healthy method but i will do it in the moderate way .I eat in quantity. As i said earlier more vegetables beans but less meat.Insread of meat i will eat more fish and seafood.I will never completely cut off the meat becausae it's the main sources of protein that we need.
Im very consistant with my healthy diet but i do have an exception for any special occasion or party.I will free my self to eat enything i want regardless it's healthy or unhealthy as long as it's delicious for my tummy...
I wanted to be healthy at the same i want to enjoy unhealthy yummy food as well..May be some people may disagree with me , it's just my opinion.

I am a vegetarian. I eat well balanced diet consisting of whole grains, cereals, pulses, fresh fruits and vegetables cooked and also in raw form as salad. I drink adequate amount of water to keep me hydrated. I don't miss breakfast. and eat light dinner. And avoid too much sugar, salt, fats in my diets for better health. I avoid junk food and cold drinks as it add calories and provides zero nutrition.

I like eating! I eat a lot of different things but try to have a balanced diet. I don't see any point in doing things like cutting out certain things or fad diets. I've always believed that it's best to eat sensibly which, to me, doesn't mean eating half a sandwich a week! It means eating a little bit of everything.
I tend to eat what I feel like, well, I often eat what my partner wants because he's more fussy than me! But I don't stop myself from eating certain things. I have tried to give up chocolate before but I found that I craved it more than when I am not restricting myself. I think my diet is fairly well balanced.
I eat a lot of chicken which is supposed to be quite healthy. I should eat more fish but apart from that, I think most of the things I eat are healthy in the proportions I eat them in. potatoes, all kinds of veg and fruit, a little bit of beef or lamb. And of course, a little bit of chocolate and snack foods although in the summer, I get little pots of pasta to take out with me instaead of crisps and things.

I am a strict omnivore. If I want it I eat it.
I consider any type of food healthful that doesn't make me sick after eating it.
The unhealthy foods are the weird things like brains and insects and grubs and worms and stuff that some people eat.
Basically if I don't like it then it isn't good for you.
If I do then it is good eating.

i am a VERY STRICT vegetarian. If it hurt the animal to get it, i will not use it, let it touch my body, or consume it. i used to be full-on vegan, but since i got hurt i have had to change that to keep my albumin levels high enough.

I eat what I want, but in moderation with portion controls and such. I think it is unnecessary to deprive yourself of anything it only brings about my rebellious spirit. I know some things are healthier than others, but that is where protion control comes in handy. If you want something that is a little bad for you, just eat a little, where as you can eat more if it carrots or something. That is my diet plan and so far I have lost 3 pants sizes in 1 month!

wow that's great! congratulations. I enjoy variety also and I try to practice portion control. Right now I think I need to add some excercise to my routine. I agree that we shouldnt deprive ourselves but we need to be careful about overindulging. thanks for your response.

I was a vegetarian for almost 12 years, then I started having health problems, they couldn't figure it out so they said maybe it had to do with what I was eating and to me it made no sense, all I ate were healthy foods, lots of vegetables and fruits and all that. So they finally got me thinking I should start eating lean red meats, and some chicken, then we found out it was my thyroid and I didn't have to give up me being a vegetarian...I was so upset, but I guess there's nothing wrong with me having meat every once in a while. I'm still doing alright so I guess it won't kill me.

I like to eat veggies, fruits, poultry and seafood. I don't eat red meat. I've stopped eating red meat for almost 5 years now. But I don't have a healthy diet, because I like to eat junk foods and sweets. I like to eat cheesy and creamy stuff and I know that's full of fat. I guess I just follow whatever I feel like eating, but I do know my limit.

I don't follow any diet as such. I try to eat small portions.I have to watch the amount of salt in meals cause I shouldn't have that. I love a good steak though. I would love to eat more fruit because I just happen to like it and I alos love veggies. Trouble is to buy good fresh fruit gets expensive and we are on a tight budget so I dont get as much fresh fruit and vegetables as I would like.

I do eat a couple of servings a day of meat. I eat mostly vegetables because my fiancee insists that it is healthier for us. We do try to eat a healthier diet because we believe that children learn from example. You won't find a lot of potato chips or snack cakes bought in our house. The children know that those foods are given in moderation. If we teach them now to eat more fruits and vegetables they are more likely not to eat want that musch junk food later.
