How many televisions do you have in your home?

There was a recent study that said on average, the American home had more tv's then people in the household. Kind of odd and definitely a sign that perhaps we have some mixed up priorities.
I can't say a word, while I don't have "more"... I have equal amounts. We have 4 tvs and 4 people.
How many do you have in your home? How many people?

I got 1 tv only at home for 3 people, and im happy that it is like that. Nowadays we do everything on our own...computer, play station, tv...we don't talk nor spend time together anymore...i think that one tv is more than enough really.

We've even taken to watching tv series online at our own convenience too, so often the tv is obsolete in many homes with fast internet connections.

We have the same at our house, as many televisions as people, which is three. Although I think we need more, we are currently using my office television a 9" Color/DVD Player TV in our bedroom, which I would like to replace with a much larger television since we love to watch television right before going to bed.

In my household we have two televisions and there is two people in my household, myself and my roommate. He does not watch tv so both tvs are mine, one in my bedroom and one downstairs. I usually use the one downstairs plus I am on the computer more than I am watching tv. I am thinking about getting rid of my smaller tv. I am sure many households have more than two tvs.

We have three TV's and two people. Society today is just mixed up. What ever happened to the day when we would go outside just to enjoy ourselves? Mom used to play outside with us kids all of the time. We didn't depend on TV the way we do now.

Two people in our house and 3 TVs but there's a catch. Of course we have our regular livingroom TV that's hooked up to cable, that's #1. TV #2 is our old TV, it no longer works as a regular TV for some reason but seems to work fine when we hook up our old Nintendo to it. So we use it strictly for that. TV #3 was a gift from my Mother, she got a new 52" plasma tv for Christmas so she gave us their old TV.
Our current TV is about to kick the bucket so when it goes we'll hook up the one my mom gave us and we'll be back to 2. One for watching, one for games.

We have only one television in our house. My son has 3 in his house. The kids have one in each of their rooms. They allow them to watch it until they fall asleep. I keep telling them that it is a mistake to allow this to happen. But, live and learn.

Well in our house we have 4 people and we have 4 running tvs. We do have one extra tv that isn't in use right now. The others are one in family room, one in living room, and then one in two of the bedrooms. Mostly though it's just the one in the family room and my niece's bedroom that is used.

We only have 1 tv in our house...and there are 3 people, me, my husband and our 3 years old. We have it in our living room. We don't want a tv in our bedroom because me and my husband just love to talk before going to bed. The tv is more or less just for my daughter where she can watch her PBS program or her DVD/VHS.

We only have the one tv, and there is my wife and me.
We only use it occasionally to watch a DVD or tape.
Most of our time is spent on the computer.
We each have our own which is really nice.

Earlier we had two but we hav one and even itis rarely switched on.in India middle class families hav only one t.v and we watch it with our all family members and women used to watch daily soaps which men hate. Children like to watch cartoons which parents allow only to a little extent.

Well, we have 2 people here. My husband and I, and we only have 1 TV, but I am sure we are below the norm.

I'm not a big television person. I like House and Lassie right now. The television is on our house almost 24/7 but certainly not by my choice. My husband and my stepson have bad TV addiction. So stepson has one in his room and we have one in our room and the big nice one is in the livingroom. The livingroom is on satellite and I for the life of me can't figure out why we need cable which is costing us just for those two TVs. Money we could use for um...GROCERIES or um...maybe...MEDICATION?

Well there is 2 1/2 of us. My son is in the Navy, but legally he still has my address and his bedroom still has his stuff.
His room - one 24 year old 12 inch tv...he used for video games. Not sure if it still works.
Master bedroom - one 12 inch tv. About 5 or 6 years old
Living room - 30 inch tv. About a year old.
Family room - 18 year old tv. Get turned on maybe once a month for about 10 minutes. Waiting for it to check out....Colors on it look weird sometimes. So I guess it sort of works.

There are 3 TVs in my house for 4 people, but 2 are underused. Mostly, we watch the biggest one that's in the living room. I also have a PC which has a TV tuner, and I can also watch TV and record my favourite programmes on my PC.
