When i was just entering high school we decidedto try out homeschool for a few years a/b I was fat and kids used to torment me constantly...
Well... I got homeschooled for 2 years~ lost all the weight also~
I decided to go back to public school after this~ and they held me back 2 grades and told me everything I did in homeshcool didn't count in public school!
Well... they did tell me that they were not fond of homeschool students~ but that's just not fair~!!
Do you think this is right?

I don't think that was right at all! I would of asked to be tested out on the other 2 grades. If you failed then I could see holding you back, but if you passed then you should have been able to start where you left off.

That is absurd! I would definitely kick up some dirt with this. They have no right holding you back because they do not like homeschooled students. That is a form of discrimination above anything else and them holding you back without knowledge or statistical proof of your abilities and testing to see what you've learned your first two years of High School is not right. I would definitely talk to someone about this.

I thought that if you went back to public school that you had to take some kind of test that would tell you what grade that you needed to be put in? I don't think it is right if in the end you are put into a grade where you already know what they are studying.

No that is not fair, they should at least see how you do
in the grade that you should be in and if that goes well there is nothing that can stop you.
This is just so stupid, I bet you are smarter than
most of the kids in that school anyway.
Good luck

I think they should have at least let you audit the class by taking the final exams and see where you were sitting. It is not fair to you at all nor should it be allowed. If I were your mother I would be going to the school board and demanding your rights. I am not sure why they do not recognize home school because if they don't then they were obligated to report it to the authorities that you were not in school so at least you would have been warned ahead of time. I would fight it!

i think its better to not experiment with ur schooling n career stuffs...in ur case i think they cud have tested u to see if u just match the other students going to general schools...but they dont really want to arrange for a special test just for u...

I think you should demand to be tested for your ability so that you can go into the right year for you. That is really unfair. Luckily in this country kids aren't held back like that, they are in the right year group for their age, although sometimes they do go up early if they are extra talented.
