Yes, What Do you think is the most irritating problem? What is the root of all their problems? I am from Pakistan. Here are a number of social as well as political problems we are facing. There are number of problems like incapable rulers, Army dictatorship, Lawlessness, Weak and poor judiciary, Illiteracy, Basic Citizen Rights. But I thin the root of all these problems is The CURROPTION is The root of all these problems.
What Do you Think about it. Please share your thoughts. also what are the resposnsiblities of all of us including bigger countries, US, UK, UNO, Third World Countries and all of us i.e people? What can we do to remove these problems from our WORLD.

I agree with you, I was going to say I think a lot of the problems of the countries is their governments. Whether there's a coop going on and some other group's trying to over throw them, or corruption. It's sad that so many people have to live the way they do because of their governments incapabilities.

well, i think that all the people of the world have been tring this for centuries. but you cannot make people change there ways. thingsh ave been suggested and remarked on but if these poor countries are not willing to change, then what more can one do? The bigger countries are there to help those that want to change and have a better life for there families. Oh and dont forget the biggest thing that makes these countries fight so much, Religion/

I don't have experience or a lot of knowledge of Pakistan but I have been to many countries in Africa, most of which are 3rd world countries.
In most instances these countries are generaly run by corrupt authorities with very little regard for the population, no money is put back into maintaining or improving infrastructures like roads, schools, hospitals, sanitation and so on. A major problem with the majority of these countries is there is no security of title i.e. you can never own your property. This means that the normal man in the street cannot approach a bank for a loan because the bank does not have any means of security. This in tuen means that the normal citizen cannot improve his situation and remains poor while authorities and politicians help themselves to finances and invest in foreign bank accounts etc. It is probably the same situation in Pakistan.

I find that like dareformore, the governments are the main problem, and this also is true in the western countries as well, there is realy no firm way to stop political corruption without being able to hold the government accountable, and punish them for corruption and worse attrocities they commit in the name of the people.
Most government officials are lawyers, and as everyone(but them)knows, there are no honest lawyers,so how can you have an honest government?
This one is not meant to be derogatory to any religious belief, but right there is another major couse of hatred and poverty.
In many countries,if you do not belong to the higher class in a religious faith, you do not get any of thye perks the others do.
I am only stating my beliefs on news and history stories,so please excuse me if I am mistaken,
Blessed Be.

I live in the Philippines, and for the longest time we have witnessed that the country have had several attempts for improvement. In one way or another, there have been slight improvements and developments.
But the deeper root of the problem remains unresolved.
Corruption, people's lack of responsibility, the unwillingness to embrace change, hopelessness.
The rich people are indeed having more success in their pursuit for more money, but the poor aren't getting any better, in fact it's getting even worse.
Environmentally, I don't think people are even observing or doing their part on keeping the environment clean, the rivers are used as a garbage disposal by the homeless that build shanties alongside the riverbank. The drainage system are clogged because of the lack of responsibility to throw garbage in the right place. There is definitely flood come the rainy season.
Lack of proper education is another problem. Public schools do not even have the full capability to provide education to all the students there, they lack equipment and facilities to accomodate the students resulting to dividing the schedule into 4 shifts a day. Children only get to learn within 4 hours a day, after that, they scatter in the streets.
Without follow up from the parents, 4 hours inside the school premises would not do a lot, children will not learn like that.
The thing to do is to stop corruption! Officials that have no other intention but to get more money should rethink their purpose. I do not believe that the government is poor and does not have money to fund these very important projects. But I believe that the officials in position are taking advantage and are corrupt.
If they would only think of fulfilling their duties honestly and whole-heartedly excluding their personal agendas, I believe that the country could improve a lot.
What we need are people who are honestly dedicated to public service.
Stop corruption and start working towards a better country.

corruption is the root of all problems. rich becoming more wealthy and poor becoming poorer. rich countries should help poor countries by giving or providing them jobs or opportunities to earn a living. personally i dont think giving money or giving loans to poor countries would solve anything. if the country is corrupt, the money would just go into their pockets and wouldnt reach the people. maybe rich countries could make a branch or business in the third world or poor countries could protect its local products then local people would be enticed to establish their own business. corruption can never be removed from this planet. humans tend to get more even if they have enough. maybe we could make them less corrupt.

Well I guess India suffers from the very similar problems no doubt..corruption can be termed as the mother of all political vices..wot the third world countries need are well educated politicians or leaders who can guide the people and represent the country..it is because of the poor service to the common man that perhaps results in the brain drain in a country..
Poverty is also the heart of crime or criminal activities in a country..I think if we practice our rights in a democracy in a proper manner and respect the rules and abide by them I guess we could do a lot to pull our countries out of the present situation.

well if buy problems you mean low income economics teaches us that the root of these problems are leaders tampering with the free market!
the only reason why the US is so powerful and rich is due to its capitalist structure
which means supply and demand leads to allocative efficiencies which leads to development

i dont think we need to bash any county here. I think the problem being is that people disagree over everything, and there is no one right way to do things. every country has their own ways, and so no one is doing the same things to help one another. its the way of the world. fighting has gone on since the beginning of time, and i see no end to it.
