I am from a big city of china,it is called hangzhou.it is beautiful place for travelling.
I think some people like to live in big city, they like the modern life.but others like living in small country, they prefer peaceful, quiet and stable life.in the country, the environment is better.the big city is full of noise and pollution.
to you, where do you like to live?
can you share the place you live and introduce it with a few words.
thank you.

I live in Las VEgas NEvada the land of neon lights!
Very beautiful at night I love to drive back over the mountain just to see all the light twinkling below.WE never are bored there is always something to do all ya have to do is look for it and alot of things are free It is a town of 3 million people and cant count the homeless people for they move in and out al the time! It is a valley surrounded by mountains and is in the high desert. In the summer the heat can become unbarable but then you just find a cool place to go .
I also would like to go see other places. I also like a smaller town sometimes!

As for me, I like living in city. For it gives me convinence. Though it is noisy and crowded.

Wow -it's nice to know someone from Hangzhou. As the chinese saying goes 'shang you tian tang, xia you su hang'. above there's heaven, below there's suzhou and hangzhou, likening the two areas to heaven.
I heard it's really beautiful, but when you say it's a big city is it also very built up and industrial? or are there mountains and greenery and lakes all around the city? post a picture if you can!
I live in Singapore, which is a crowded city of 4 million people on very very small area of land. But there are also open spaces like parks and nature reserves and huge botanic gardens and large open zoo for animals without cages (just moats). I would like to live in a little town, like some I've visited in NZ with populations of about 100, but think I might get bored after a while.

i live in one of the big city in Australia... Melbourne... i prefer to live in the suburb rather than in the city because everything is so expensive in the city and also the traffic is very packed especially during peak hours... suburb is more peaceful and the price is relatively lower there... that's the reason why i just bought a house in the suburb of Melbourne...

I am from a tropical rain forest country, Malaysia. I live in a rural area near a town in Perak State. There are thirteen states in my country.
I like my home town as its traffic is not congested and foods selling here are quite cheap and delicious. There are rambutan and mango trees planted in every house. We know our neighbors well.
Nearby, there is a beautiful lake garden with a zoo in it. It attracts tourists from all over the country.

I am from a town in Western North Carolina, USA. I really like living in the country for the scenery and the friendly people, but I hate that everything is so far away.
Right now, I live in Yuba City, CA and close enough to town that I am able to walk to many stores. Still, I would like to be able to have a yard and pets, so I guess I am hard to please. I like the convenience of the city and being able to walk places or have public transportation, but the scenery and space of the country.

i am from the Philippines... i live in baguio city, the so-called "Summer Capital of the Philippines". it is not as big as the country's capital, manila, but it is one of the best cities in our country.
the cool climate and fresh green and peaceful environment, not elsewhere found in other tourist destinations in the philippines and of which the city is noted, makes it a favorite destination especially for those who would like to relax and stay away from the excessive heat of the lowlands. this is the strongest selling point of the city that akes it also the favorite venue for seminars and conferences. the city also hosts events and festivals that attract visitors to the city, most notably, the annual Flower Festival which we call "Panagbenga" (similar to the Rose Parade of Pasadena, California) celebrated every February. ^^,)

I live on the island of Saipan....where there are coconut trees at every glace and the beach is minutes away. Although it is a small island compared to cities and countries in the United States, it is a beautiful place to live and the people here are great.

hello tracy. i am from the philippines and i live in davao city... it's a city located in the southern part of our country. which is the most livable city in the philippines and also in the top 20 most livable cities in Asia.
i love it here. law and order are very much observed by people from this city. there is still respect to everyone. and not much traffic and not much pollution, too. it's a clean and wonderful city and most people love to be here.
have a nice day... anne

I currently live in Ohio near the Cedar Point amusement part. We get tourists coming through all summer. The prices go up... not so fun. I used to live out in the country on 43 acres and loved it. So far off the road that I didn't need curtains. A fire eliminated that and so we rent in the city where we cannot see the stars. We do have dsl now and I can compute so much more than when on dial up which is all we could get out where we were.
Is noisier and not as free living. Thankful though for what we do have.

I'm from India. A country rich in culture and values. Living in this modern world of today we still treat ur guest as the form of God. I live in a place which is very cool and calm from the poluution and noice of the city life. It is very rich in natural beauty and sight scene.

I have yet to get overseas but China would be a place of interest to me. I love the scenes I have seen of it and imagine it's a beautiful place. I live in the USA about 4 hours drive from the Atlantic Ocean in a very small town. I actually live on the outskirts of it owning a very nice 1.5 acres of woods. I moved here from a fairly large city in New England and prefer the quietness, the friendliness of the people (especially my neighbors) and how relaxing life is here. I left a lot of stress, hardship and nasty neighbors behind and can't imagine living anywhere else at this point in my life.
