Without e-gold, what now?

This question is for Filipino members of mylot. Hello, there! today, I am about to get my first payment from mylot. And as we all know, we can no longer use e-gold, and mylot has directed us to use moneybookers. I have signed up for moneybookers. My question now is, what is the best e-gold exchanger for moneybookers? Can we still sell it to Pinoygoldexchange? or do we also need to use other e-gold exchangers? I have tried searching for exchangers in the net and I have found two of them. So where are we going to exchange our e-gold points and convert it to cash?

as far as i understand, moneybookers is a form of e-money, but not necessarily e-gold.
for withdrawals, i think we can withdraw via our bank account (thru swift), or via cheque. we don't need exchangers for moneybookers.

So that would mean we will divulge to them private info about our bank accounts? I don't think it's safe enough, do you? I have second thoughts about this.

well, its never safe to divulge private bank infos. but i don't think moneybookers would ask for it. they shouldn't. just the account numbers. i'm also still trying it out so i can't really tell much..

@blackcode
i'm not really sure which banks are in the swift net.. i'm currently checking with my banks if they're in it. c",)

As I research recently about the moneybookers account coz I sign up It's very hard to find the bank swift code and you must ask to your band direct if they knew about the moneybookers. As I studied and search I saw that they have transact through mobile and e-mail payment like thsy charge 0.67 in mobile and 0.17 in e-mail thats why in the last part of the registration they ask about your mobile no. But still I don't any proff till I ecieved again my next payment that is next month and maybe that all we can do just to wait what will happen to the next payment.

Actually right at this moment I already convert my e-gold account from pinoyexchange just like many friends here told me to do so like jencai I used another computer and access my account through e-gold I saw that mylot pays me and I followed the instruction that I read before on discussion of certified_alice http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/466633.aspx that was 6 months ago I follow the instruction and finally I convert and I just transfer it to my bank. Now I will wait for their e-mail if they deposited the amount from my bank.

nope.. its never safe.. thats why you really need to review everything they'd ask for. if you believe such private info shouldn't be given, then don't. its better safe..
.
but honestly, i don't think moneybookers would ask anything more than your account name and number. not sure though.. so please act accordingly.. c',)

Provided you have a bank account you do not need to exchange anything into e-gold. You must open an account & then set up your banking and address information. People from the Phillipines are able to withdraw to a bank account.

also remember to provide valid information. You will have trouble withdrawing funds if you provide an inaccurate name, address, or birth date to name a few.

I received my last payment thru e-gold. Now I have to create a moneybookers account. I did not encounter any problem with e-gold. Hopefully, that would also be the case with moneybookers. I just wish that the € 1.80 withdrawal fee would be the only thing that I would not like about moneybookers.

If you are unable to get checks, you can make online purchases instead. The purchases will be sent to your country. If you buy from the United States, the dollar is really low right now and you can get really good deals right now. This isn't ideal, but it may tide you over until the mess clears up.

I think goldage.net forum provide exchange service for moneybookers to e-gold, honestly speaking e-gold is the best payment gateway due its tried and tested in 11 years. For us have diffucult to find reliable third party to exchange our MB balance to its e-gold unless they are authorize by Global Digital Currencies Association.

i talked to jencai, another mylot user who taught me a lot about moneybooker...you dont have to sell any gold to pinoy exchange..you just need to have a bank account. like what the other mylot member answered above, through swift or sheque..things is every transfer is like $2.54 when youre going to withdraw your money...so, goodluck to all of us!!!

Hi,
I am also worried because I am from UAE and cannot use Paypal account. I was relying on egold and now since egold is havign problem, I opened account with moneybookers. Anybody having experience with moneybookers? Please suggest how it is and if it can be used by people in UAE. Is it easy to receive and withdraw cash from moneybookers?

Mine is quite far from yet since I chose 25$ payout. I hope many will post after they received their payment thru moneybookers and guide us what you all did when you received your payments. I am just waiting for anyone who will be receiving their payments in here. I expect to see threads about how they made their transfers of money.

I really don't know what will happen next without e-gold since I just claimed my first payout there today and have it exchanged in pinoygoldexchange. This is my first time to do that and I am glad that I have surpassed that log in failure in e-gold ha ha. Now, my problem is moneybookers. It says, you must be 18 years of age and heck I am one year younger. I will be turning 18 on October and that's long. I don't know maybe, I'm gonna wait for my earnings to go up to 100 ha ha before I get my 2nd payout. =)
