Hi everyone,
Which area(s) in math do you find difficult? And, if possible, why do you find it difficult?
I'm a math teacher, writer of math books and a math web site. I hope to find out more from you students. I guess if I can figure out how you think then I should be able to help you better.

hydrostatic pressure, work theorem and series, and 3-dimensional planes.
part where you use integrals to calculate them

I have a hard time with probability laws. I never know which one to apply to a given situation.
I have some trouble with Trig. I can do the basic sin, cos, tangent, but I have a hard time knowing when to do inverses or cotangent and the rules and equations that you're supposed to memorize.
also I've forgotten how log and ln are supposed to work. I remember it being fairly easy, but I guess since I don't know any practical applications I've forgotten.

I don't get Algebra.
Why should I care how to find some X in
some long math thing.
It all looks so weird to me
and makes NO SENSE.
Anyways good luck.

I'm taking a class in trignometry/statistics right now. With that aside, though, for me the most difficult thing in math was theorems concernings circles, and finding their arcs, chords, etc. So many rules I just can never seem to memorize when it comes to circles.
