Al Gore might run for president

I was reading an email blurb from the magazine Newsmax.com. It said that Al Gore is saying he might run for president if he wins the Nobel Prize. He is out promoting his new book and his apocalyptic movie, and in the process gathering the names of thousands of potential volunteers and campaign donors. Even as late as October would not be too late to begin a campaign. What do you think of this idea?

If that man ever became President, I think I would defect to another country !! I think he is ridiculous and would never be able to run this country. I really don't think he'd get much of a vote anyhow. Maybe he should just stick to the "global warming" and Late Night with Jay Leno.

But, unfortunately, it's far from funny. I'm not willing to ride a bicycle while the doomsayer rides corporate jets.

He started the GLOBAL WARMING fear as his presidential agenda. He didn't want to run in the conventional sense because he was HURT before because GW Bush won. (He believes it was stolen because he is a bad loser.)
Misheleen, if HRC, Osama Ben Bamma, or Gore wins...there is no country for me to run to.

LOl I do know what you mean. I think if a few of the candidates win, it will be disaster. This presidential election is going to be the biggest joke I think I have seen.

I'll tell you as soon as I can stop yawning. Everyone knows the world will no longer exist by the next election because according to Mr Gore we are committing hari-kari by microwaving our planet. So his decision to run for president will be made in vain. Next topic please..lol.

I think it's good for a laugh. The man conceded the first time and then turned around and demanded a recount. He wanted dimples, pregnant and hanging chads counted as being for him because it might change something which it didn't. To me that tells me how petty and self absorbed he is. We don't need him in the White House. We have enough wrong with this country right now without adding him to the mix.

He has done nothing worthy of a Nobel Prize, his movie is misleading and based on theories and data that is either misrepresented or misleading, and have no basis in fact, and for all of his talk and stated positions on Global Warming and Environmental issues...we then find that his house is one of the most environmentally unfriendly and inefficient of just about any.
After single-handedly inventing the internet a few years back along with some other outrageous claims that do not hold up, I think Gore would be a perfect candidate for president...as a democrat.
He is exactly what we have come to expect from those we elect and I have no doubt that he would do his part to further erode our rights and economic status if he were to be elected president.

Amen to that, he can win if we work together to beat the media and get his political principals out there.

well that would be a good sign for America if he should run cause it felt he was fraudulently short-changed the last time he contested against bush in the last elections.
I think it would be a good idea to have a formidable candidate like al gore

Well, I am not sure if I want him to run. He already had his shot and now it is for someone else like Hilary Clinton to get a shot too. I will vote for Hilary Clinton anyday than Al Gore. He doesn't impress me that much.

It is marketing at the highest level. First, it promotes the idea that he should win the Nobel prize, or at least he thinks he should. Then it is a teaser about possible presidential plans. Meanwhile he is promoting his "creative endeavors" all in the name of an environmental crisis. I do not think he is nearly so smart as he thinks he is, but he seems to have a lot of people fooled. I hope it never happens. He wants to run. I think he will, whether he wins the Nobel prize or not. Right now he is running a "non-campaign"

Goodness, please nooo..
I dunno..just something about him which gives me the heebie jeebies..not to mention he just seems..fake to me somehow. Like he's putting up an act. Sure, most people in the world do the same..but bleh.
Global warming? His whole political agenda is based upon a myth? Oookay. Whatever.
*sighs* At this point, anything other than Ron Paul ain't gonna cut it..I'm gonna have to become a hermit if he doesn't win (and admittedly, his chances could either be really bad or very good by time we get to election day..and my goodness I know it's gonna be a close one).
