Okay, folks, there have been lots of questions about your favourite vacation spot, especially Hawaii, but this one is different. Would you like to come to Canada? If so, where in Canada would you like to visit? What city would be your first choice? What attractions do you want to see? The Calgary Stampede in Calgary, Alberta? The Acadian Fiddle Festival in Prince Edward Island? The CN Tower in Toronto?
Tell me where you want to go in Canada. I live in Ontario and I could give you lots of ideas on where to go and what to see. There's lots to do here in Ontario... and Canada.

Did you by any chance also go to that castle? I can't remember the name of it, but I think it started with a D. It was such an out of place thing to have there, we couldn't resist!

I don't know much about Canada. But I do know I would want to see the Niagra Falls. I hear it is prettier on the Canadian side. So that is one thing I would want to do.

It's pretty nice here right now, but the winters aren't always terribly cold. With global warming we didn't even HAVE winter this past year until late January. Now if you are talking the Yukon and North-West Territories, yeah it gets pretty cold up there.

Working for Tourism Ontario? :o)
Sad to say, I've never been to the CN Tower, so I guess I'd like to do that. And I'd like to revisit Casa Loma, also Dundurn Castle here in Hamilton. Then there's the Parliament Buildings in Ottawa...
Then, too, I'd like to revisit Vancouver, see what's changed since '95.

I've been to Casa Loma several times. It was my father's second home as the Kiwanis Club of Toronto runs out of it. I was there just last week actually. Kiwanis presented a scholarship in my father's name to a music student.
I've been to the Parliament Buildings in Ottawa as well. The only places I haven't been to are Newfoundland, Nova Scotia and the Prairies, and of course the North.

I have been to Canada for a holiday. We went to vancouver and Vancouver Island. I really enjoyed the trip thoroughly, especially the Bouschart Gardens and the History Museum. If I ever go again I would like to go to Montreal.

NO! I lived there once before, and it's (to me) not an appropriate vacation destination. I prefer beaches, and the world's warmer places. However, my daughters want to go to Quebec City in 2008 for the big anniversary celebration there, and my French Canadian husband is totally in favor. I don't understand it at all - maybe it's just the heritage in them. But I fear that we may end up going (sigh).

I actually live right by Canada, about 20 minutes away, across the Detroit river. I have vacationed in a Canada a couple of times. The best has probably going to Quebec City, even though it was freezing! I also have taken trips to Ottawa which is really nice, as well as Toronto. I would love to go to New Foundland and Vancouver on vacation one day.
