I use shampoo and conditioner. I could never use just soap. I think it would make my hair go horrible. But i really need the conditioner cause i got long hair. Best wishes to you

Honestly speaking, I hate using shampoo because of the harmful effects of its chemical agents. But I got to keep my hair clean so I 'have' to use it no matter what.

i've had some friends who used regular soap too. i don't know how they can do that-i tried it once just to see what the deal was,and it dried my hair out horribly. shampoo for me,thanks..

I like to use shampoo. I love its scent and smoothness. Using a bath soap? I can not imagine it now? But different people may use various ways to clean. For me, I like shampoo very much!

Yeah... I like using shampoo for my hair. I ever used soap for my hair and it was so bad. Maybe because it's too rough for hair.

I try very hard not to wash my hair more than absolutely necesary, I have very thick, very dry hair, and shampoo makes it worse, so usually I just rinse my hair mid week in plain water but only use soap (hand made soap or shampoo, but only a tiny bit) once a week if I absolutely have to. I like to use a little bit of oil on my hair too to help tame it and stop the ends being frizzy.

shampoo is the only way for me to clean my hair so theres no way i can live without it.

I use a completely natural herbal shampoo on my hair. I could not imagine using anything other than shampoo. My hair is long and so I have to make sure I maintain it with a good shampoo. If I used bath soap, I think it would make it dry and tangly. Tangles in long hair are a nightmare to get out. I don't know of ANYONE who use bath soap or anything else in place of shampoo.

I have to use shampoo and conditioner in my hair because it dries out really bad if I don't. My daughter's hair is the same way on both of them. I have to use shampoo and conditioner in their hair or else it gets dry and stringy. I am just glad that Suave makes such good tear-free shampoo and conditioner 2-in-1's for little kids.

Hi Happymom1!! I like to shampoo my hair..It makes my hair smooth and clean..Using soap for hair will cause some problems like hair loss and it becomes rough..I prefer to use shampoo daily..If i dont use a shampoo a day my face wont look fresh and people will ask "why you are dull today?"..thanks

I dont actually know anyone who dont use shampoo.....it sounds quite weird to me that they dont like it. i remember once stayin overnight when i was working in a hotel and no-one could get me shampoo (i no in a hotel lol) so i had to use shower cream to do so and i can say that my hair did not come out shiny, or managable. i prefer to use shampoo and seperate conditioner all of the same brand it comes out alot healthier and shinier this way and a lot less tangled!!!! to sum it up i love shampoo and conditioner in my hair and esp when i go to the hairdressers and they use there own brand of shampoo and conditioner on ur hair while massaging ur head.....Love it !!!! :)

i like using shampoo, nice and pretty hair afterwards. no way could i put soap in my hair or not wash it at all how yuck with that look like. i cant think of anyone right now that doesnt use shampoo

I use shampoo and dont know why some people prefer to use soap only.Actually shampoo is better for the hair.And in addition with conditioner and some hair masks.

I;ve heard people doing that. Using bath soap, because then they don't have to buy shampoo. But I have to use it. Bath soap does not get my hair clean enough. And I need conditioner too. I have such thick hair that if I dont use conditioner it will be all stiff and knotty.

Hello,happymom,i will use shampoo everytime when i am washing my hair,i think if we do not use the shampoo,my hair cannot be washed thoroughly.When I am using the shampoo,it will make me easier to wash my hair as well,it is also important for maintaining the health of the hair as the ph value of the shampoo suits my hair but the shampoo does not.

I don't like using shampoo, because I have auntie, she is like to using shampoo but her hair not good so I don't like using shampoo. best regards

I have known people who use bathsoap to wash their hair. I have to use shampoo on mine. I like the smell of shampoo and it just feels cleaner. I tried using bath soap once, when I ran out of shampoo and it just didn't work well on my hair.
