Are BLONDES less INTELLIGENT than BRUNETTES or REDHEADS??

I think it is just a joke. The color of hair can't possibly tell how smart someone is. It will interesting to see what responses you get.

I don't know & I really don't care, I am blonde & have an IQ around 150. I have been told it is higher, but I am not sure of the number. I only know I feel like a rocket scientist around some people I meet! One not-so-dumb-blonde...

I honestly feel anyone who assesses someones intelligence by the coulor of their hair has big problems. However, it is generally assumed by us none blonds that blonds have a great life and that everything comes easy to them. Natural justice dictates therefore that she must be stupid. Nah, I do not belive that blondes are more stupid than the rest of the people. Intelligence was not in the hair the last time I checked. If that was the case, than bold people would be really dumb =) I do belive that there are alot of blondes that acts stupid though and therefor they might be considered that!

I grew up with Blondes as People put it , and I can`t say they are Dumb or Stupid , actually they all are or were Smarter than I was/am . I think Blonde Jokes are the same as Newfie Jokes , just something for someone to laugh at/about . My family is kind of part Newfie so I can`t say alot , I just laugh it off , at least their leaving someone else alone ... Some of these Jokes ars funny , don`t take offense , I`m sure none are ppointed to you ,just something to laugh at ...

I have known some dumb people who would make the "dumb blonde" look like a rocket scientist. I guess because of the way blondes have been portrayed in the past on tv and movies people tend to think blondes are dumb.Goldie Hawn is one of the smartest people in showbiz! She made a fortune playing dumb, but she's not. I was born blonde but my hair darkened over the years. We must also remember that a lot of women(men) dye their hair blonde. So if they are not true blondes-what is their excuse?

Well, in most of the cases - yes! Not being harsh but I've seen many such ladyes and forgive me but they were more than stupid. But I should confess that my best friends are blondes - I have exactly four such friends and I have to admit that they are the most intelligent girls I've ever met, except one of them who knows and doesn't suffer that she's quite stupid. This is not an offense or something, I know her for 14 yrs and she always say ' Man! You're always smarter than me...I'm so stupid' or sth common. My conclussion is that blondes are (quite a hugely massive number) stupid, but there are exceptions like in every other rule, so to all of you girls if you can't decide in which category you fit best, try an IQ test. P.S. I repeat that I don't wish to offend anyone - this is what I truly think!

I'm a brunette with two blond half-sisters. The elder of the two is smarter than me. She's at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo where our father attended, and is a chaplain there. The younger of the two is not especially smart, but she tries harder in school and gets the best grades of all three of us! She's taking architecture at a specialty school in Berkeley, and probably knows her math better than I do. And I'm not dumb. I haven't taken a real IQ test since Kindergarten, when they bumped me up to first grade. But I've taken a couple of online tests, and my scores range from 134 to 155. Whenever I take assessment tests in English and math, I usually get perfect scores across the board (I'm not trying to brag). Computers are my field. My grandfather was a rocket scientist, literally. He worked at Lockheed Martin for 34 years, and oversaw the team that built the "Little Black Box." It's an enormous machine that controls the solar arrays on the Hubble Space Telescope. The first father figure in my life was my grandfather, and it was he who taught me much of what I know in computers and space. I understand his IQ was somewhere around 160, before strokes, diabetes, and myotonic dystrophy reduced him to an infantile state.

That's utter nonsense to think that because one is a certain hair color...blonde...makes them less intellegent..I've known plenty of dumb brunettes and redheads!! As a by the way...did you know that Marilyn Monroe, who was famous for playing ditzy blondes was actually quite intelligent??...And when you think of it...if blondes are so dumb...then why do many women want to be blondes??

We blondes know it's totally bullsh*t. Don't we? ;) I've always heard some silly jokes about it, but I noticed they mostly came from people who were somehow jealous. Cheers, sweetie! :)

So not true, how you look like doesn't have anything to do with your IQ level. We just got used to this thinking that blondes are dumb... which most of the times is true cause they tend to focus on improving their physical appearance rather than their intelligence. People are just being dogmatic...

I dont think both are less intelligent. People just make jokes out of them. Its cruel indeed as In India people do with Sardars who are very intelligent indeed.

I don't think so.....but you do have to admit that a lot of the airheads are blonds(natural or not).It's just a label that stuck and who knows how it even got started. I would never assume that someone is dumb.....just because their blond.It's the ones that act stupid(not so sure if it's a act for some)....that give others a bad name.

I come from India where there are no natural blonde women. They are all dark haired. Over here we never associate intelligence and the color of the hair. But I have heard countless "Dumb Blonde" jokes. As much as they are funny I dont see any truth in that neither do I accept that. Its just a cliche.

Only the ones who aren't natural blondes and dye their hair blonde because they think that makes them better looking.
