What to wear.....

Do you go to the closet each morning and wonder......what am I going to wear today? Or do you plan ahead so you don't have to deal with decisions so early in the morning? I pick out my clothes the night before and lay them on my dresser. So when I roll out of bed in the morning, I grab the clothes off my dresser and head for the shower.

I pick my clothes out the night before so I don't have to think in the morning. I don't function well of the mornings so all I can get done the night before is better.

Yeah, I do the same too, so not to get late. Everything is well prepared at night.

It's so pathetic....I will actually pick out the clothes I want the night before, but in the morning, I will change my mind and start searching for something else to wear. No matter how much I tell myself to stop, I almost always end up doing it pretty much every morning. It drives hubby insane sometimes, and I get the biggest ribbing from him, but that still doesn't stop it.

Oh yes, the trick is to not change your mind in the morning! LOL.

For Weekdays, I use my Office Uniform, except on Fridays which is our washday, so I choose whatever I want. Planning on what to wear.. I depends, sometimes, as early as Saturday, I iron my uniform and choose what to wear on the coming Friday, then sometimes, on the very day of Friday, I just pick whatever I see first on my closet. haha

I have started picking out my clothes the night before and putting them on the dresser, so that, like you, I can just roll out of bed and grab my clothes on the way to the shower. It's also more convenient in terms of not waking up my fiance by moving things around in the closet while he is still asleep. Every once in a while, I will change my mind about what I picked out the night before, if I notice that something is torn, stained, or just doesn't match with the rest of my clothes, but it's a lot more convenient to have most everything ready to go when I get up in the morning.

I like having everything ready in the morning. Otherwise I would be standing in front of my closet for 20 minutes trying to figure out what to wear.

=)) This sounds sooo familiar :)) I mean, I never think ahead what I am going to wear unless I know I have an important meeting the next day (and I usually don;t have such things). So every morning is the same ... "what am I going to wear today?" ... And the hard part is the ironing :(( I mean, that is really nasty, as I am always running late.

Hey DCP, I should be that organized-even when I worked outside the home I never laid my clothes out ahead of time & now that I work from home I stay in my sleep shirt & undies until the afternoon unless I have errands to run & even then I'm staring at my closet going what to wear :ughh: +'s 2 U :D

I try to pick my clothes out the night before also because I'm NOT a morning person at all. I try to keep things easy for me to get ready for work in the mornings, take care of the pets and leave for work. If I slip up, I wake up groggy and don't know what I want to wear. I've found myself pulling way too many clothes out to consider wearing only to leave them on the bed. I have also been known to dress and then decide I didn't want to wear this today and the process starts over. For me knowing what I'm wearing the next day is the best choice. It keeps me on track and also from being late for work--not to mention the mess that is left on my bed if I don't pick clothes out the night before!

I do not really think too hard on what I am wearing for the day unless I have some thing important to do. I do not work so I can wear anything that hits my fancy when I get up. I wear old sweat pants and a loose fitting top if I am just running around my home all day. These are very comfortable clothing. As far as when I have things to do outside the home, it depends on my mood how I dress. There are some days that I feel like wearing a skirt and other shorts. Since I don't really know until the morning how the weather is really going to be and what my mood is, I just wait and pick out my clothes in the morning.

I always have an idea what I'm going to wear. Mostly the same type of clothes I wear day in and day out as I have alot of the same ones. (Just like a cartoon character) lol Hehe ~Joey

i only have 3 of shorts so its not hard for me to pick my clothes out. i stay at home with the kids so its just shorts and a t-shirt. if we do go out its normally just food shopping or to ride the 4-wheeler so i really don't have to worry much.

Let's see, for work it goes a little something like this.. "shall I wear the Khaki pants with the blue shirt or the khaki pants with the blue shirt..." LOL I wear a uniform to work so it's easy on me. To go out somewhere, I usually just throw on jeans and a shirt. If it is a special occassion, I have something picked out in advance. Not only for me, but for the whole family.

Somedays I do wish I had a uniform to wear to work. It gets real old trying to figure out what to wear to work each day. Although I work with kids and they don't care what I wear, but I still like to dress nice cause it makes me feel good.

I usually think ahead of what to wear the next day. At night when I am taking the shower, I would think about what to wear the next day. But I won't actually take them out and lay them somewhere because I usually crash to my bed after the shower. Then I would wear those planned outfits the next days. Sometimes, I have mood swing too, if I wake up the next day and don't feel like wearing the clothes I plan, then I would stand in front of the dresser and think about it.

Yes I do wonder because I've no planning as to what to wear.I wear what I get in a random and put it in a hurry.I find time to iron it only if I get enough time.Sometimes I had been forced to wear even soiled clothes. But most often there will be dried clothes in my wardrobe. But there is no question of ironing before keeping it in my closet.

To be honest my main problem is picking what my daughetr shall wear, lol, she probably has more clothes and shoes than the whole street put together, by the time I get to me I just pick what ever jumps out at me lol.
