Do you set goals for yourself in My Lot?

I have just this evening started to set goals for myself. I want to reach 100 posts by the weekend. I know I will not have enough for pay out this week, so my goal for next month is to have enough in my account for a pay out then. I don't even think I will get anywhere close to 100 posts per week. I wish you good luck in meeting your next goal.

I don't set any goals in MyLot. I don't want to disappoint myself if I don't meet them. LOL, And I would feel more rushed, and might not give as good a quality response as I would if I didn't have any pressure. I have found though, that goals are not necessary for me anymore. The more time I have been at MyLot, the more I seem to post and respond anyway.

Usually my goal each month is just to make more than the month before. I made that goal the first four months or so, but since I haven't been on as much lately, now I'm just hoping to hit $20 or so before the end of the month. I never set goals based on how many posts I will make. I tried that a couple of times, but I enjoy browsing and having continued conversations via comments far too much to really stick to those goals. So instead I just try to have fun, and just check my earnings the next day to see how I did. I get really excited when I reach my goal to make more money than the month before. So far my earnings have gone to charity, and I love having more to give.

Wow, terri, you did very good. And, it was much appreciated when you brought some our older posts back up. I have tried to set a goal of making $1 day, but have only reached in once. I'm beginning to wonder if I can ever reach it again. But, I have been busy the last couple of day and haven't been able to post as much as usual. I should be able to get to posting more the rest of this week and get closer to my goal.

i really want to but always i fail, look at my rating it is quite low but i am here for 2 weeks?and have earned only 3.46$ and i don't know how can i increase that and also i did have a problem with the earning updates..maybe i will try to set goals, and to increase my ranking..thanks...

My goal for this month is to earn ten dollars before the month ends. Right now I only have one dollar in my earnings and I still believe I can do it. Provided I get the time, the strength, the courage, then there is nothing stopping me. I would respond and respond and respond to as many discussions as possible to make this dream of mine come true.

Yes, i started with big goals. And i participated most of them. Now i am in a period of doubts.I am bored and have some other reasons here to loose motivation. So i have no goals. I know that i will get my minimum of 10 dollars till the next mounth with very slow efforts.But i am not sure that i will struggle for something more as i did in the beggining. May be this is the traditional summer mood and the hot weather.

I typically don't get that involved with Mylot, but yesterday I told myself I wanted to get up to 350 posts and I was right around 320 or so and so I got there and then lo and behold I had made $1.10 yesterday and so when I realized that I might be able to duplicate this without too much of an investment, I've been sticking around to see what happens today. My rating hasn't gone up much because I've been posting in a lot of my own discussions, but hopefully my earnings will be over $0.50 again. I would like to get to 500 within the next couple of weeks or so so that I'm able to post links and excerpts and stuff without having to necessarily right it all out. I think that is a very good rule that mylot has in place though. Anyway so yeah, those are my goals. I'm also contemplating on seeing how quickly I can move up the top users in terms of pages. I'd like to see if I can get in the top 10 pages within with next month or so. VERY doubtful especially since i'm unwilling to invest more than 30 mins a day, and often times not even 10 -- probably unrealistic, but we'll see.

i was thought that to reach my posting 10,000 before this coming christmas. that's my goal i set in mylot. i guess. so, based on my current post, i need to acheive 1500 post per month, about 50 post per day. wow! that is a huge amount for me based on my current activebility. i hope to get more friends , so when i start a discussion, i can get a bit more feedback rather than only 2 or 3 response. would you add me as you friend list.?

I need to set goals on myLot. I am working on a plan to set aside so much time for myLot and then for my other programs and then so much for crafts, house work, etc. but I am not completely there yet. I am trying. I love to reach my goals.

Yes, I set goals here in mylot. I do this so that I don't lose interest and I will keep my payout up by staying steady. I try to do 20 posts everyday except Saturday, Wednesday, and Thursdays. On these days I try to post at least 5 posts. The reason Saturday, Wednesday, and Thursdays are different is because on Saturday here at work we get very very very busy and it is a struggle to get the time to make 5 posts in my 8 hours at work here. On Wednesdays and Thursdays I have my days off and at home I can only use dial up and the people on here who do use dial up will understand because it is very very slow going.... also these 2 days are my days off. I need time away from the computer and with my son outside so I am not on the computer all day until at night when my boy has gone to bed.

Hi terri0824! I have been here for 3 months now. I reaches my payout when i reached 396 posts. I am not much active here as i have a highly paid responsible job and earnings are not much a criteria to me. I have a personal goal set regarding mylot tthat i should reach my 500 posts before the end of this month.

Hi Terri, I have spend numerous hours on here and the most I made in one day was .37, I was dissapointed. But my goal this month was to reach $10, now it looks like my goal is to reach $5. I just keep posting responses and hope it will grow womeday. I've not been in myLot long enough to figure it out I guess.

This is day two for me and I was wondering how many post I should do a week. I am impressed you did 500! WOW! I guess I will set goals too! 500 is steep for me but I am thinking I will shoot for 200.
