In Slovakia the snow is not as usual as sand on the desert ... but noone is surprised when it comes :) In last time I noticed that every year the climate changes a bit because winters ar not as cold as used to be and also amount of snow is smaller. Maybe global climate really changes ... Did your daughter enjoy it or after a few minutes stopped playing because it was too cold to hold it in hands ? What was the most strange or surprising thing about snow for you ?

i have seen more then enough snow. this last year was the first time my middle son has really been old enough to really go out and play in it though and he hated it. at first he wouldn't even walk on it.lol it is very pretty to look at but a pain really where we are from. i am sure if we had never seen or had to deal with it i would think it was great. i do enjoy playing in it as long as we don't have to go any place and my hubby don't have to work. if it would stay off the roads i would love it.

i'll send you some of our snow next winter lol. I live in pennsylvania, so I see a decent amount of snow each winter. You question isn't stupid though. I have cousins who live in florida, they hadn't seen snow or even mountains before except on tv. they were up 3 years ago for a anniversary party so they got to see the mountains, but they still haven't seen snow.

I've seen enough snow to be bored with it, but not enough to be able to drive in it. I guess I get bored with it because I can't drive anywhere!

well, l live in northern part of china and i see snow every winter, there are distinct four season in there and i adapt to the environment very well, since i can put up with hot and cold, so i like the places. i don't know to live places in which the weather is hot all year round. maby some poeple in the southern part of china don't see snow sometimes.

Since I lived in Iowa for quite some time....believe me....I've seen more snow than I had ever cared for. It's really not a stupid question at all.....because there are plenty of places that rarely ever get even as much as a dusting of snow.

I live in the UK and we get snow sometimes in the cold winter months. Snow can make the landscape look very pretty indeed. I like to see children having fun making snowmen although I don't like to be hit by snowballs. I used to live in a county called Kent and it snowed there a many times. One year my village got quite snowed in and I had to take 2 days off work so my employer was quite annoyed. In 2004 I got my dog, Secret, it was delightful to see him in the crisp white snow, he didn't mind having frosty paws. I have seen snow in Germany, Austria and Switzerland during a winter holiday. The city of Salzburg, with its old fortress, looked quite magical under the soft white blanket of snow. I didn't want to go skiing but I found it very scenic to go up mountain in a chairlift. I hope you and your daughter are very having fun in the snow.

Well I live close to some mountains so I get to see snow almost every winter. But the past few years the winters have been rather warm so there hasn't been a whole lot of snowfall.

It's an interesting question instead, I live in Italy and also my town haven't snow for a long time, sometimes when I see some landscapes covered by snow I feel a strong and strange sensation I think that it's as when someone see the ocean for the first time... I never seen it neither lol :D, anyway I promise that I will see real snow after this summer... I hope.

I've lived in a couple places where it snowed, Maryland and Northern Japan. In Japan it snowed 8 months out of the year some years. I loved it! Now I live in Mississippi and it doesn't snow here except once in a blue moon. It does hail some tho.
