When was the last time you went to the hospial? or it could have been a family member. My Aunt is in the Hospital. they want to keep here in there because they want to try to get her Blood Pressure under control. My sister called me up the other day she said my Aunt kept her up all night Hallucinating, did you know that if your Blood pressure is so high you will start to hallucinate, this is true, that is how I knew my Aunts B.P was up. I told my sister to take here B.P, and she called me back and said it was very high, this happen once before to her, and I knew that her B.P was high, My Sister took her to the Hospital and they kept her, she is doing much better now, she is 95 years old.

I hate hospitals, the last time I was in there for myself was when I had my daughter and I had her on the tuesday night and I went home on the thursday, I would have been home alot quicker than that but the doctors had to check her out before I went! I went to visit my nan in hospital recently and I freaked out and had to go home, I absolutely hate hospitals and being around all of those sick people!

I don't like hospitals either, when I was in my 20's I went to the hospital alot, female problems, had alot of surgeries, more than I should have and hence ended up in the emergency room more than I wanted to. I hate hospitals and avoid it at all costs. At Christmastime I hurt my back falling on some ice (trying to ice skate) and I know I needed to go to the hospital and my boyfriend knew I needed to go but I was not budging, I would rather hurt at home in my own bed than sit around a hospital for 6-8 hours to be seen by a doctor that is only guestamating a diagnosis that is probably not correct, and will only have to be seen by a knowledgeable doctor the following day!!

I feel like I've pretty much lived at a hospital at times! When I was a little kid, I was hospitalized a lot, often for weeks at a time, and it made me really hate having to go there! As an adult I would avoid going until the last minute, when I just knew I couldn't put it off any longer, but these past couple of years while I was pregnant and since I had my son I realize that I can't be that way, that I have to take care of myself. Recently I've been at the hospital a lot, between my son having seizures and my own health issues. In fact, next week I have to go with him on Monday, me on Tuesday, and then even out of state to a specialist for me on Wednesday and Thursday! The week after that more things with my son, it's just crazy how much time we spend at the hospital. I'm hoping things straighten out a bit for us soon, so that we can just stay out of that place! I think at this point I would be happy to be able to go three weeks without stepping foot in a hospital or doctor's office.

*nods* I have complete faith that he will get better, and really we're not sure his condition is a big deal anyway. It's likely that the seizures he has had are only fever-related, which happens to many children. However, since both my husband and I at some point had seizures in the past, my son's doctor is being very thorough and doing tests just in case! My own health situation is more severe right now, but I am also excited that I'm going to get to go to the specialists and get proper treatment! I was a little worried about how I was going to get there and some things like that, but so far things are falling into line for me so well! Just a little faith and a lot of help from my friends. =)

There are two places I absolutely hate going to. These are hospitals and markets. I don't like going anywhere that is crowded and I don't like the market idea where you have to bargain for everything and then keep going back and forth. Just tell me the real price and let me pay if I can afford to. As for hospitals, the first thing I hate about them is the smell. I wonder why they all smell the same. I don't like getting sick and I don't like seeing people who are sick or injured either. I feel really sorry for them. But I don't like it when people feel sorry for me.

I hope your Aunt's blood pressure goes down. Another sign of high blood pressure is slurred speech or not being able to say the right word. This happened to my wife when she decided not to take her blood pressure medicine for 3 weeks. She ended up in the hospital over night until they got her blood pressure down.

The last time I went to a hospital was when I had to take my husband to the ER. He was diagnosed with DVT (deep vein thrombosis) and they ended up admitting him. We sat in the ER for more than 6 hours til he got to an exam room and then another 5 hours til they got examined and to a room. What an ordeal! We live in a small rural area so I was surprised it took so long. Last time I was in the hosptial for myself was earlier this year when my BP went haywire. It wasn't alarmingly high but it was enough that I noticed it. They didn't keep me but instead put me on meds and sent me home. Your aunt is lucky to have you and your sister. BP is NOTHING to mess with at all.

I'm so glad your aunt is doing better. You have so much to think about now, I hope the stress isn't getting to you! The last time I was at a hospital I had knee surger. I had a authroscopy. Even though it was an out-patient surgery, I couldn't wait to get out! I think everybody hates hospital. Big hug, lots of love, and I hope things are going good for you.

I don't mind hospitals. I spent 26 years in full time church work, so I made a lot of hospital visits. I usually did alright with them. The ones I had a problem with is when someone was in a bad accident and they insisted on showing me all their injuries. The combination of seeing the injuries, and the warm atmosphere of the Intensive Care unit sometimes made me weak. I can't give blood because I pass out afterwards. I think it is all connected. Otherwise I have no problem going to a hospital to see someone.

The thought of entering or just being near the place is enough to give me goosebumps. I'm just glad that nurses nowadays are sporting a cool-homey outfit that creates a more soothing ambiance to the place.

Yes those Scrubs that they wear are really nice. they come in all colors. I seen a lady with some yellow Scrubs on with prints, she really look nice in it. You could tell they were scrubs vut they really looked nice, I guess the color brought it out.

Oh my! That's a wonderful age to be able to live to! Most people only live to around 77 years old. I didn't know that having high blood pressure could make you hallucinate but I guess it makes sense. I'm glad to hear she's doing better now and hopefully she can go home soon. The last time I was in the hospital was many many years ago when I was four. I had to actually go twice that year for a hernia surgery (I used to pick up really heavy things)and to get my tonsils and adenoids removed.

I am sorry to hear about your aunt but I am glad she is doing better. Its been over 22 years since the last time I was a patient in the hospital but I have had my share of ER visits for either myself or my loved ones. Plus this last year it seems like one or another family member has been in a hospital. I don't like hospitals either.

My last time being in a hospital, being the patient myself, was about 2 years ago when I was operated on because of my slipped disc. I hate hospitals, especially if I am the one confined. You get pricked here and there, you could not sleep because they keep peeping on you, and you get horrible food. Above all, you could get heart attack when you get your bill!

I was in the hospital I went to E.R. they bill me 1600.00 for E.R, I don't have insurance., but I had to go and see about my self. I SHOULDN"T OF WENT BECAUSE AFTER ALL THOSE TEST THEY COULDN"T FIND ANYTHING WRONG! sorry I didn't mean to have caps on.

thank god she is doing better now.. I fear to go hospital when i was a kid because of injection and pills and most times i have cried and forcefully taken by my parents.I had wheezing problem years back so need consultation and neerves injection most times during winter season. Those are worst days for me. I too dont like hospitals because when i see someone grieving with pain i really feel for them and if i see someone with critical wounds struggling for life ..these incidents will linger in my mind for certain days. When my cousin was admitted in a serious condition because of an accident i frequently visited him and sometimes i stayed in his room for taking care and whenever i entered hospital ..the smell of medicines, rushing of patients into emergency wards worried me a lot.

I don't think anyone really likes to be in the hospital. But we are all thankful that God has given us good doctors to help us heal. Glad that your aunt is doing better. I didn't know high blood pressure caused hallucinations. 95 years young....she must have done something right health wise to get this far in life.

..kinda funny but i like to be hospitalized before..for the reason that the attention of everbody is focused on you, and chores at home are given to the other siblings..its sort of selfishness, right..!!! but i realized it is not easy..when i got to work in a hospital as a trainee, i started hating the place...the smell...the medicines..and everything that relates to the place..!

I was going to say you get rest when in the Hospital, but actually you don't because every five mins, the Nurses and Doctors are coming in.

I have last went to the hospital about 1 year ago and I stayed at the hospital for about a year. How? Why so long? I was in a major car accident and received injuries to my beautiful brain. Here in Canada this is a major thing my friend received a worse brain injury in India and was not even taken to a Hospital. However i received such a little injury and stayed for about 1 year at a hospital show we canadaians got a good healthcare system...lol. To tell you the truth i actually enjoyed staying at the hospital after the first few weeks. It's a safe enviroment and It can get nasty but I was staying at a Rehab center which is not exactly the same as a Hospital but anyways its better being at home with your family then in a hospital...getting needls every 10sec.

I am sorry that you were in a car accident, you were blessed, my baby son never made it he was killed in a car accident about 8 years ago, so God was with you, we can't question God, he is in a better place. May he rest in peace.
