i don't think it costs anything to verify your account at Paypal. i've done it several times and i did not notice any reduction in the amount in my account. of course i just might not have noticed it, but it is presposterous for Paypal to charge account holders anything for just verifying their accounts. now, withdrawing money is another thing.it is because it involves some transaction so it can cost something.neh?

To verify your account with paypal, they don't charge you anything except that you need to add your credit card details with them associated to your account. It will be safe with them, you can go ahead and give your credit card details without any hesitation.

They only send that money if you are adding a bank account. Credit cards can be added instantly (for free), and do not require any actual money transaction to verify.

I believe it costs you nothing to verify your account. It has been awhile since I did it, but to add a bank account, Paypal will take your information and then transfer two small amounts into your account (usually a few cents). Then you check your deposits to see how much they put in, log into paypal and enter the amounts, and your account is verified. THis process usually takes a few days for the deposits to be made.
I think it is also possible to now verify your account "instantly" if you have online access to your bank.
Good Luck.

I just realized you live in Romania, so the Paypal rules may be different for you than for those of us in the USA. I know they differ greatly from country to country.
Usually when you start a transaction with paypal, they are good about telling you if there are any fees before you commit to the action, so you will know if you are going to be charged before you go through with it.

There are no charges on that as far as I know unless they have changed rules on that recently. But, I don't think they would charge you for it.

It's totally free to verify your paypal account, all you need is just a credit card or a debit card. Actually it will charge you a few dollars when you add your credit card or debit card to your paypal account, I am sorry that I already forgot how much it charge, but no matter how much it charge at that time, it will pay you back when your first time spending your money in paypal.

There would be no fees in verifying your account, whatever the method might be. Even when you are using credit card and they take a small "fees", actually they will send it back to your account. That fees is only for verification purpose so that they know that the credit card really belongs to you..
There would be no fees in verifying, but prepare to be amaze with fees in another aspect..
