I bought an ice cream cone and a pack with my mylot earnings. I'm pretty happy about that. Eh, I have a job, too. Mylot is just a fun distraction. It doesn't even pay that well, really. There are other sites out there that earn a bit more with less effort.

Oh really? You mean to tell me this is not a job? I thought i could retire from mylot.lol no but on a serious note i have a full time job and the reasons so many complaints is because around 10 months ago earnings were like 2- 3 dollars a day.I remember at one point i have made 4 dollars a day.Really the earnings are a bonus but i wish they would let us know why such a decrease and to what else is going on and whatmay be happening. disvachic

I have often wondered about people too, who consider MyLot a "job" Then again in some countries, a few cents American is A LOT of money, so this could very well be a job to some. For me it's pretty much "coffee money." I need a cup of coffee? I spend my MyLot money! ;-) I make about $15 a month, and that's enough for a few trips to a really nice cafe in the area.

Yes, it sucks to notice a diffrence between now and a few months ago, but as you said, they don't have to pay at all. It's free pennies, don't be so greedy people. No one is going to make a living off these sites, no matter what the spammers try to claim.

I think the big deal is that Mylot used to pay a lot more than they do now. It used to be easy to make like 75 cents a day or up to $1.25 but now it seems almost impossible to make anything more than a few cents. That's why people are peeved. If Mylot weren't a paying forum, it would be a very bad forum and no one would have signed up.

i completely agree with you... we have to be grateful that this site pays us at all cause they don't actually have the obligation to pay us... that's why i never complain of how much i earn here... i just want to have fun, make friends and enjoy my time here... i don't really care about the money... i have my proper job to cover my living expenses... the money from here is just a bonus...

Woohoo! Well said. I took a break for a few months from Mylot. Not because paying decreased--I was just busy. But it is sad to come back to the same type of discussions about how mylot doesn't pay that well anymore.

You are right!In the first hand,this site already helps a lot since it is a free registration.And they give penny in a simple task and no demands required.Nobody hires for you to be here and earned a lot of money.Actually mylot is the one who helps people who are members here.It lessen our doubts,and people here are friendly since alot are giving opinions and advices to discussions.I am happy being here and i am glad this site pays though not that much but it helps too.I have job and i dont depends my needs here.Lol!!!

I appreciate your bluntness. I too am very tired of the whining. Now, some like me are disabled and truly cannot work, but what supercedes that is the fact this is free money. Sure, it isn't a whole lot, but we do nothing for it. So why not just be thankful?

You are right with this. myLot has never demanded money from us. In fact, it is the other way around: meaning they are the one paying us. So if any member don't like it here anymore, they are free to go. Or they could find some other GPTP programs out there. I know of some other programs, in case anybody here would like to know, just pm me. But I will always stay here at myLot.

Personally I think we get less if we respond to the discussions that lack substance. I must quote you "Bloody hell if you're that hard pressed for money here's a thought, GET A DAMN JOB." LMAO No offense to anyone but some people do call MyLot a job. The I have my own business type. LOL I have my own business. You can find it on yellowpages.com as well as several phone books in my area. I come to MyLot to goof off and the crumbs that they toss us will make a nice meal if we save for a year or two.

I kind of agree with you. It doesn't bother me as much, but I simply don't reply to those posts because I can't relate. I'm grateful I'm getting anything at all and there's plenty of other sites that pay more than myLot. I'm pretty much here only for the discussions and friends. Had I not gotten addicted to this place I probably wouldn't be here right now, the money is pocket change. I don't know why anyone would except to make hundreds. One thing that does tick me a little is people who beg for ratings. So they start a thread and about their ratings dropping so people can feel bad and rate them. I wouldn't even want those kind of pity points. What's the point, you didn't earn them because people liked your discussions or replies - simply because they pity you. Yuck.

I guess those complainers are just running out of useful topics to post. I have noticed that earnings are down, but it's not a really big deal. I was spending way too much time at My Lot anyway. I would like to have a life, and not just chat all day. Other more important stuff to do.

I have a great job- thanks-- but I think the reason people are complaining- is because mylot started to increase the earnings- and then thry dropped aagain- Sure it is true that they don't have to pay for anything- I say it's an added benefit- I'm using my earnings for Christmas shopping-

I am with you on that point. Mylot does not really owe us anything but then they still pay us. they are not asking anything from us except join and post and share our opinion on many things and yet they still pay us for doing those. This is really not a source for us to earn for a living. Just enjoy what it can give you and be happy with it since there are a lot of forums that doesn't even pay. Just a word of advice, don't be upset if there are people like that in here. Understand and respect them too its just they don't really appreciate things that we appreciate. Instead think positive and be happy that you made a start to make them realize what they are supposed to appreciate.

Dear devilsangel Well I have told many members here that's it not a money making site .. it's a friend making site but actually the main motive of people to join this site is money .. and with the growing time they get the idea that it's a friend making site .. so till that time they just keep on creating this earning type of discussions here on mylot .. What mylot is doing is simply great .. they are actually paying us -- for not doing anything .. obviously we are not doing any job here .. what we are doing is -- we are replying to the discussion of our choice, making good friends here. I will not lie .. when I joined mylot my main motive was money but then it got converted into friends because I realized it sooner that money is not the only concern for me to remain here .. I have made many good quality friends here and wish to stick with them whether mylot pays or stops paying :)

I agreed with you on this one. Its irritating to see people doing that and complain this and that. This is just a very small sum for passive thoughts and yet there are people expect a huge lump sum for just doing nothing much

i agree, some had misinterprteted this site as a gold mine job where in they expect so much to get paid..paid sites are amazing for they give a lot of oppotunities to people who cannot get a job but at least can earn an extra if they work hard on it.. some days are good here, the earnings are great i even qualified how many times for the payout..just now that some changes are made and i notice the lumps on my earnings..from 96 cents a day to 20 cents a day..but i dont really complain becuase i enjoy being in here and i am thankful on what i was earning..some poeple gets upset with their earnings because expect too much for this site to pay them and those who complain are focused on what they could get here..if they will foucs on the fun with people in here, they will appreciate no matter how much they will earn but its a fact we must admit that lots of people today are after of what they can benefit on many sites..
