Is there really money to be made from home on the internet?

Today there are so many sites that offer the dream of extra cash in your pocket, but the true question is whether or not these are actual opportunities or just a scam to cheat you out of time and money? I wonder if others like myself question how much sites make off of our efforts.I have applied for lots of online income opportunities to be rather dissapointed. I have either made only a few pennies for hours of efforts or found out that in fact I would recieve nothing in return. So what do you think. Is there really money to be made, can people really work from home and make enough to support themselves financially. I can't wait to see what you all say.

I have been in the same predicament as you. I am always looking for ways to make money online and have found that there really aren't too many out there worth wasting your time doing because you just don't get enough for all the time. Unless you find that magic site I don't think you will ever be able to earn enough to support yourself financially, but if you do find that magic one please tell me.lol. If you like playing games I am a member to a game site called moola where you can compete against other players to win money. Moola gives you the money to play with so you don't lose anything but your time. It is an invite only site so you can't just go sign up. I have invites if you would like one to try your luck at that site. Just message me your email addy and I will send one to you. I have cashed out and been paid by them so I know the are legit.

I think there is a lot of money to be made on the internet, but there are also a lot of scams too. It's hard to know what is what. It seems that most people don't even know how to "do their homework" on a site/business to find out if it's legit or not. If people knew how to do this I would sure think you wouldn't hear so many "I got scammed" stories.
The way to really make money at anything, in my opinion, is by getting referrals. Or in a sense, having customers. I don't think you can make a good income by doing it yourself. At least this is my experience. Some people may be doing it on their own and that's great.
I feel I am now on the right road and soon I'm going to feel the effect of the snowball. I can't wait for that. I just don't see any other way to making money here.
And one last thing. I think we'd all like to earn our income from the internet, but that takes years (in most cases) to acheive. By sticking with what you're doing and not hopping from opportunity to opportunity, you will succeed, if you believe in what you're doing.
I hope you find what works for you. If I can help you with anything, I am happy to do just that.

I have to agree with most of the comments made. I think there a very few that have made a fortune from network marketing. While most of us that are trying to follow in their footsteps are losing our shirts. I have found a couple of programs that seem to be working for me-time will tell in the long run. You can't even join a safelist without being bombarded by hundreds (literally) of "get rich quick" schemes, or "join this and yadda yadda yadda.." So I think we have to take the good and the bad, and convince all of those that are wanting us to join with them, that they really need to be with us! Not easy to do. Find one or two, or heck, maybe three or four, and stay with them. Work you hind end off to promote and grow them. I hope we all succeed!

I find I make a very useful additional income on line but it certainly isnt enough to give up the day job. You'll find some of the sites that pay me well in my blog if thats of any interest, but in most cases its just a handful of extra dollers per site per month, though I don't spend huge amounts of time working on any of them.

Alot of these sites are scams though. ANYTHING that requires an input investment, I pay no attention too... I tired of seeing all these scams, they play off ignorance and stupidity, and those who aren't computer-literate may end up losing money... All so that some Joe somewhere can have a few extra bucks in their pocket. To be honest, it sickens me. I'm new here, and I'm hoping I can earn some money here... My friend really wants a certain item only available online, and I'm hoping to get it for her via earning money for my Paypal account... Here's hopin'!
