I have seen many, many movies more than once. In fact, I can't think of a single DVD I own that I've only watched once. I tend to watch my favorites every so often, and there are some times when I get really excited about a movie and wind up watching it pretty much every day for a while.
If you're talking seeing a movie more than once in the theater, that's a little pricy for me. In fact, I rarely see a movie once in theater anymore, because it would require I get a babysitter. However, when I was younger there were several movies that I went to more than once. The last one my husband and I watched several times in theater was Gladiator. We were living above a movie theater at the time, and free movies were part of our priveledges from our rental agreement, and there wasn't really anything else decent playing.
Actually, more recently I saw Charlie and the Chocolate Factory in theaters several times, just because I had already seen it and then a friend requested I go with her.

I think for me it has to be Matix. All the three Matrix movies I've seen more than like 10 times at least. I just like those sci-fic movies and the plot and everything just seemed interesting and also all the fights and just overall I just enjoyed the movie so much that last summer I ended up watching each part more than 10 times at least. Don't even remember now the exact number of times that I watched it and if I had to watch it over and over again, I would probably still keep on watching it, probably just can't enough of Matrix.

I didnt really like the second one. Most people I know said there was NO point to the second one. The first and third were best and I think so too. Although I've only see the second and third once. I have seen the first at least 10 times. I still dont own the dvd of that or the third but maybe one day soon I shall :))

Back when I was a younger kid, I remembered seeing the Lion King twice at the cinemas. Same with Space Jam. I don't know, I guess the story was really moving and interesting for the Lion King whereas Space Jam was really funny. But hey, I was young and was a kid. Now days, Independence Day is something I've seen heaps of times, as well as most Jackie Chan Movies. The Terminator 2 & 3 gets regarlar viewing, I guess mainly because they are interesting and different movies, and you are still picking up new things whenever you watch them again.

I own over 200 dvd's and have seen each dvd SEVERAL times. Trust me, I wouldnt buy a dvd unless I wanted to see it LOTS AND LOTS! However a few movies I have seen twice in the theaters. Ones I can think of include Runaway Bride (2 times in theater), Now & Then (3 times in theater), Phantom of the Opera (twice in the theaters), and The Prestige (twice in the theaters). Those are the ones I can name for just theaters.

I saw Ghost eight times. It was shown in cinemas for so long. I've watched The Rock and National Treasure several times as well. I like these movies because their stories are great. Until now I wouldn't mind watching them again.

Hi nutea_anin. :)
Actually, there are many movies that I have seen more than once. I have seen Mortal Combat(1996) in the large screen three times, and I have watched it at home maybe more than five times. LOL. I don't know, nut I just love it! And there's another movie that I have seen more than 20 times. I have almost memorized the dialogues and the songs (because it's a musical). I'm sure many of you have also watched this many times, who could ever forget THE SOUND OF MUSIC?! :). Until now, if I have time, I still watch it, and everytime I do, it always seems like the first time. :)
I'm planning to watch TRANSFORMERS again and again and again. :)

I have NEVER seen a movie in the cinema more than once, we live a long way from any cinemas & the costs are ridiculous but we have a decent collection of DVD's here so i watch my favourite movies on a fairly regular basis!
Let's see, there's :-
Lord of the Rings
The Grinch
Spongebob Squarepants (my daughter loves it so we watch it almost daily!)
House of 1000 corpses
The Rock
Plus a heap of others - i don't see a point in buying movies on DVD if you are only going to watch them once!

There is no way I could list all the movies I've seen more than once. I own more than 500 movies on DVD and VHS. There were several years that we did not have cable or satellite or any other kind of network television. All we had to watch were the movies/tv shows we owned. So, we watched them a lot. If I like a movie I always watch it more than once. If I don't watch it more than once, I didn't like it at all.

Hello! u seem to be very passionate about those movies.. I have watched movies several times for different reasons - Sometimes the first time I watch a movie I seem to miss some parts so I have to watch it to make sure I understand it. Sometimes I also watch again if my friends haven't seen it yet and needs company to watch a movie. Lastly I watch a movie again because I simply LOVED it! here are some of the movies I've watched several times because I loved it: all of the star wars and lord of the rings and my sassy girl.
