What is your current strategy in mylot?

I once saw someone do some mathematical figuring, suggesting that if someone posted non-stop 18 hours per day they could make about $400/monthly. That's a lot of work for very little pay. The idea I guess is to have some hot button topics that get a lot of responses that are original in content. Not to mention getting referrals would probably help. dr...

try to get more referral around the world. that all for now. what is your strategy?

I have no referrals all the money I've made here on mylot I've made myself by being active..I do reply to my friends post and i do make my own and reply to the people whom have replied.. It works for me I average around .50-.60 a day or at least recently I have been before that it wasn't much at all.. I found though being very active and longer replies do help out alot! When it comes to making money on MyLot I like to try and respond to atleast 100 or more discussions per day. This usually gets me a dollar or more. I also give + ratings to everything unless it is abusive or spam, and I upload as many pictures as I can. This has worked very well so far.

Right now, my main strategy is to try to make at least 30 responses a day. It doesn't earn me much more than 30 cents a day, but for right now, that's good enough for me, with the time that I have to devote to posting here.

i'm not depend on mylot earning too. My days already fill with my kids. Being here in mylot, kind of give me a break from the mommy job..LOL.. I think upload image for discussion that you have can also boost your earning here. I have no referral also. If you put more time i think it's possible to earn $1/day, and mylot open 24/7.

Actually, I don't have any strategy. I just post when I feel like it. It would be nice to earn more, but it is not the main reason for me to here.

I know that a few months ago i did earn at least one dollar per day here, but now days i am thankful if i earn more then 2 cents here. i know that i choose only posts that really interest me, and that i think i can answer with a quality response. This is very important to me. i also know that each respond would be not less then five lines, and i also check that my vocabulary is right most of the time.

not much i just post alot and keep with me all my loyal friends wherein io could really get some nice comments on :) nothing much just enjoy posting and meanwhile learn from other people too

Honestly for the month of July I have been really lazy. I guess I am just not motivated enough to give it my all here on mylot. It is quite difficult to earn money here. So I just try my best to come on and respond to a few discussions. I try to pick discussions that I know I can give up to 4 lines of response to and the sad thing is there are not so many of them out there. I guess that is about the strategy I use, just respond to as many as possible and make the response as long as possible. Hope it helps.

my strategies is no strategies..it is all for fun and not profit..maybe i could get an idea or share a story..but that is about all..but I am almost up to ten dollars..gosh..in the united states i can go to a movie and get some buttered popcorn if it is on tuesday..that is because I am a senior and have a movie pass...but I seldom go..because I like the computer better..and the library,,YMCA swimming,,the parks..also watching movies on Demand..as our provider (comcast) is running a special...so I watch TV in bed..but what do I know..? but I get Up sunday morning and go to Church...as God give us a week and I should at least give him an hour..

well, instead of chating nonsens. Better we make more invitation among our friends....it's hard and waste alot of time if we want to send an email to every each them. Why dont we go to any groups, join them and invite the groups, in that case all the group members will get the invitation....focus on that first, after we get more friends then we can start the discussion..well, at the moment that what i do, i just join yesterday, so far it's work...at the moment. We'll think'n something...then share it ok!

Hi. Thank you for introducing me to mylot. Actually I've been to this website quite number of time but I don't understand what is all about untill I read your email. The instruction and the information are enough for me to understand. Thank you very much. Since I am new, I hope we can strategies. :)

Ihave made a strategy: 1. Post 100 discussion topics before weekend 2. Post 100 responses per day 3. Answer all the emails 4. Put tags 5. Bring in as many referrals as possible This should bring on an average $1 per day.This is not the only site I visit. I have around 15 sites to visit everyday. With all these I get $3 per day and I should increase it to $5 per day and that is good for 4 hours work per day.

Basically I have NO targets, I am not here for the money and for me friendship is the most important, I have made so many friends here which is so valuable, friends that have supported me and have been there for me. I don't currently have the internet at home so I can only be on Mylot for minimal periods. I do try to respond to all of my friends discussions, the money is a bonus but they have reduced the amount they pay out, I think mainly because of the amount of members now on Mylot!

Well I don't have that so called strategy, I just do my postings and of course, follow the rules. I hope that I could reach a certain amount of money here before the pay period, well I hope so, I really do.

I think I posted a response to another discussion with my answer to this! DOH! What I said was basically: I think posting a discussion like this is a good way to pick the brains of other mylotters to find out what works the best for them so far. Being a newbie, I'm curious in finding out that same information for myself. I've found that (and heard a rumor that) the longer you keep a discussion going - particularly one that you started, the more the payout is. I also take the time to respond to every comment I get, if possible, because I've found that this gives you a bigger payout also. I heard from other people that you only get credit for responding to your own discussion once...but I don't believe this to be true! Respond to as many discussions started by other people as possible. Continue to add friends. Update your profile. Add pictures. Use the pictures on one of your discussions - and promote the links to the pictures in a discussion (so that people will comment on it and thus give you more towards your earnings). Start a discussion per day. Just keep trying different things as I've been doing, including what other people suggest, and see what makes you more. I have no definitive answers on this yet, but I'll keep coming back to this post for suggestions! In the meantime, good luck!

My current strategy? Post whenever I can and do my best when posting. The earnings are only a bonus. Being here is great.

It may take so looong to earn hard cash.. 70-100 post = 1$? cool enough.. at least having fun wont hurt?
