The family dog is a gigantic black lab and his name is uber-original... it's Max. But I want to get a Chow Chow and name it Bear :)

We have a dog before and we named her, "cookie ched".... :)

The two bull-dogs we adopted "came" with names...Chevy (who we've managed to now call Che'mon-don't ask me why, 'cause I don't know) is the reddish one with a black "mask"-he often gets so excited he dances by hopping from one foot to the other. Monster is the brindle, and he is the calm, patient one, although if he sees someone else getting attention, he weasels his way into the spotlight. Bobby is our german shepherd, which we adopted as a puppy. At first, my dad called him "puppy" because we didn't yet know what to name him. Soon, he started to respond to it, so my dad started to call him "Bubby" (a combination of baby and puppy)...it soon morphed into "Bobby". And it stuck. Bobby is a little overweight...okay, a lot overweight. But he's so good at finding things to eat that he shouldn't-he's worse than a child!

We have two dogs. Our jack russell was named when we got him. He is Toby. We extended his name to Toby Keith. Our miniature schnauzer was named by my two sons. They each got choose one name. Her name is Racecar Abby. I call her Abigal when she does something wrong (and she knows it too!)

We do not have a dog. However...my father-in-law had a dog. A shepherd and doberman mix. She was a big dog ...but would not hurt a fly. We all loved her...and she was always around my son when he was smaller. We will never forget her..she passed a few years ago. She was cremated. Her name was Hooker.....

My toddler son has a little dog. He got it for his first christmas. He named it Gary. It was after "sponge bob's" pet snail gary.

We have two the first one we got was a stray,she is a female 2 yr old albino boxer, but her eyes are the peircing ice blue,We named her Riddick,from the Chronnicals of Riddickand ,Pitch Black-The character Riddick had very weird looking eyes.So thats where we came up with that one,she is soo loving and people are so frigtened by the way her eyes look. #2 is Bowser,he is a 1yr old 80 pd beautiful brindle boxer,we got him from a couple that could no longer keep him,due to a terrible car accident,and couldnt care for him properly,we decided that he knew his name well and with the big change he had in his life,it would be better if we kept it.He looks like a Bowser Remember sha-na-na ---Bowser,looks like him lol

My in laws have a border collie that they let my 3 year old name. He named it Einstein after the little einsteins (a show on the disney channel). So far he has not lived up to his name.

Good topic. :) I have 3 dogs. My male is a Black Lab/American Pit Bull Terrier mix. He is 3yrs old. His name was Biddy when I got him. But had a dog named Buddy at the time so I re-named him Spike. His nick-name is Chewy because he makes a sound that sounds like Chewbacce from Star Wars. LOL Both of my females are pure American Pit Bull Terriers. The 1st one is 2yrs old. Her name is Star because she's all a chocolate brindle color except for a little white star on her chest. :) The other one is 1 yr old. Her name is Denali. I don't know why I named her that. It just seemed to fit a red/white dog.

well me and my husband have 2 dogs a large black lab that my husband named Darkness Lord Oden ( I have no clue why) and I have a Mini Dachound that I named MR. Bruno Tickles. Mr. because I thought it was cute, Bruno cause he thinks hes the biggest dog alive even if he only waighs 4 or 5 lbs and Tickles cause he makes me laugh. But we mostly just call him Bruno and he seems to like it

our family dog is a chinese crested puppy, its short and its color is white, our dog is very furry. Her name is Devi and Debbie. I took that name from the name of my mom's friend, she gave devi when she was puppy to us. The name of my mom's friend is debbie. My other dogs name is Cookie, Spyro, Trojan (Japanese Peach Dog), Rocky (Labrador), and Sussie.
