Where have you been this Summer?

Where have I been this summer? LOL completely out of my mind! thats where I've been ;-) as for vacation wise...I've only gone to California back in April..I was SUPPOSED TO go to Canada to visit an old friend, back to Cali with my kids AND to Ohio but then everything got turned upside down and as backwards....HOPEFULLY come the fall I'll be able to go on a mini vacation...I'll definately be needing it thats for damn sure :-/

Ha, ha, ha, you know what is so funny, when I was reading you topic, I said to myself, my two best friends and taking vacations this summer, so I don't need one, LOL. One went to Texas from July 3rd and will return August 3rd. The other is leaving August 1st and not coming back until August 10. So I have been and will be getting good vacations right here at home. I love them, but man oh man is it nice to miss them once in a while.

I have been busy this summer. I will be leaving in the morning for a few days. I am going to my bestest friends house, we are going to have a slumber party. Its going to go on for several days, hehe. She lives about an hour aways and with gas prices so high, its too expensive to drive back and forth, we don't have big plans. It will be fun to just hang out with each other. Its so nice your friend is visiting, its wonderful to see friends. In Sept. I will be going to Cal. not far from LA. I have an Uncle that lives out that way. I have also been out of town a few times going to flea markets, thats always fun. The casino trips are fun too. My wish for you Marcie is a wonderful fun filled relaxing vacation.

I have only been one place this summer. My husband and I took the kids to Indiana Beach this year. They really had fun and we enjoyed it too as it seemed as though we are always too busy to spend time with them.

Well we have been down to FL to vist family, we spend a few night in cabin at a local campground which was fun and cute place to stay. We didn't do much there expect for see the family and went swimming a few times. Then we went down to Virginia Beach for a few days, we went swimming, laid on the beach took naps in the middle of the day. We also went on a jetski, which was the firs time I have ever been on one and it was a blast. Then we spent one night at the great wolf lodge which has an indoor water park it was a really nice place.

What a pity! The same as you know, Why don't you go back with her? yeah,vacation is good for everyone.It may help you to relax yourself. A lost chance never returns.

We haven't gone anywhere this summer. My son and I are going to scout camp next week for 4 days. That will be about it for us this summer.

I havent been out of town anywhere on vacation.Oh i wish i could!!With my financial situation i cant.Hopefully next summer i can leave town.Its really great to get away for a while and enjoy yourself.Hope you and your girlfriend have a great time.

I went to Montana to visit my son. We also went to Yellowstone National Park which is an hour and a half from my son's place.

I am spending the summer in Sedona Arizona with my fiance. I've already been here a month and a half, and I've got another month and a half to go. I won't want to go home when the time is up. We both love it down here.

I have not been anywhere this summer either, but we are leaving for our family vacation tomorrow morning to spend 7 days at a beach house on the Gulf of Texas, can't wait. We have had so much rain here, I am at the point now, I don't even care if it rains on me everyday on the beach, as long as we are there relaxing and having a good time.

Why don't you go with her? It's nice to be away for a while and know other places so you won't get bored or follow the same routine. You deserve to take a vacation, why don't you plan one?

I went nowhere this summer. I have company coming here from California. That's gonna be fun to have them stay with me and I'm gonna cook 'em turkey...:)

I just got home from a vacation for me...work for my hubby. He had to go to Maryland for 3 weeks on busines, and I went along for free. Well, they paid for his gas and millege, and the hotel didn't charge extra for me...so I went. On the weekends we went over to Washington, D.C. and saw all the sites. We even snuck in time to go to Hershey, Penn for a day. Boy did we go overboard buying chocolate...LOL. I did my work from the hotel room, when my husband was at work. It worked out nice. We had free evenings from 3:30 on...it was only a 13 1/2 hour drive for us. And now I need rest from the drive. But I had a good time. I guess that would be a working vacation.

i need a vacation too! lol. i'm so tired of working and need a break. how i wish. but i went for a vacation in hong kong last may for about a week. can't afford to take time off from work and my budget is a little bit tight too at the moment. hope you'll be able to take your vacation and have a nice holiday! :)
