I want to know what kind of things my mylot friends collect.
I collect K Chin prints, especially the owls and unicorns. I have a signed owl hanging in my living room and it is my most prized possession and if there was a fire it is probably the only thing I would try to save. lol. One day I will have a tattoo sleeve dedicated to him and it will be awesome.
Do you collect anything? If not, you are a loser. Just kidding.

I don't collect anything nowadays. There is just no where to store things. With a second marriage, & years of belongings from myself & hubby, can you imagine the amount of gear we have!
I used to collect statues of cats & cat books. Now my daughter has the books, & I still have some of the statues.
Some of them are beautiful, & one, belonging to my grandmother, is very old.

I collect Dust. I don't really seem to have to try really hard, it just seems to appear. :)
Seriously, I collect cat knick-knacks or just about anything cat related. I have more than I care to even try to count. My friends and family say I am so easy to shop for because anything with a cat on it, I will love.
I also recently started collecting autographed movie poster photos. I try to get the ones that are 8x10 reproduction of the actual movie poster and that have been signed by the cast. I have just started so I only have about 20 right now and I threw in a really cool signed picture of the Friends cast, the Charmed Cast and Cagney and Lacey. I suppose I will add more tv show cast photos as I come across ones that I really love.
I also have a ton of movies, books and San Francisco 49ers stuff, but I don't really consider those collecting because I use them. Some of my 49ers stuff is just for decoration so that could be classified a collection. One day I will have a real collection of 49ers stuff and they will all reside in my Football watching room. (Of course I have to get a house big enough to have the football watching room first, but that is just a detail.)

I collect teddy bears, angels, Stephen King novels. At this moment I'm also collecting dragonfly windchimes and such for outside. I think it's fun collecting something. The joy of the hunt when you find that one that you been looking for. What I collect isn't worth anything, but it's just something I like.

For me, Michael Whelan is the man. He creates the dragon figures and prints for the Franklin Mint. I currently have one of his prints, two of his 2 ft tall dragons, and six of his dragons that are under the glass covers. I also have the signature Michael Whelan shelf that he created specifically for the display of the smaller dragons. Eventually, I hope to have the entire collection of the big and small dragons. I might have to have a yard sale to get rid of stuff to make room for them though. LOL

I seemingly collect books, particularly comic books and graphic novels. I prefer to not think about how much money has gone into filling my two huge bookcases...
I think I also collect music. We've got almost 20,000 songs on our computer. I had to buy a external hard drive just for music!

When I was younger I used to collect key chains. How lame. I mean, I have some pretty cool stuff from all over though. Then I don't know somehow I started gathering a collection of Shot Glasses...it seems to be what people like to buy me. I also have quite the collection of piggy banks because, well I like pigs.

My hubby’s hobby is painting. I used to collect his used brushes of various types and sizes. Other than that I do collect books on painting whenever we visit to any book exhibition. My hubby always tries to hunt for his favorite books. As time passed by I have collected quite a large numbers of books on painting. I like to enjoy reading those books with lots of attractive and colorful paintings. Other than that I do collect my hubby’s painting papers, especially those for water color. They are of different textures and thickness. I keep loose pieces as my collections.

I used to collect Ty stuffed animals. Ty manufactured many animals for a few years and they were very collectable and the prices were going up. However, Ty sunk it's own boat and the bottom fell out of the market. They are now worth nothing.
My husband collects star trek ornaments by hallmark. These are very nice ornaments and very collectable. Some of his ships are worth well over five hundred dollars. However, these ships are not just for collecting we put them on the tree every year.
My daughter collects hinge boxes and dragons. I have bought her many dragons that will double in price over the next few years.
I also collect barbie ornaments by halmark. These pieces are just for collecting though. I have never taken them out of their boxes so that they stay nice.

I have hundreds of Beanie Babies that I don't want to sell now because they are worth so little. I wanted to sell them a long time ago when they were worth money, but my mom wouldn't let me because she thought the price would only go up. Yeah right :P I did sell one for $350 though and I think I was probably about 9 or 10 at the time so that was so much money to me. I was rich!

For years I have collected ceramic birds. I also collect hummingbirds and elephants. And because I always liked Barry Manilow I collected ceramic pianos. For Christmas I have a Dickens village town which I collected from Department 56. Unfortunately where we live now I have no room to display any of these. Oh well, maybe some day I will again have the room, God willing.
