What spices do you love to add to your food when you are cooking? Do you add them to everything or stick to using them in just a few dishes? Right now my favorite things to use are cheyanne pepper and cinnamon together, it gives a sweet yet spicy taste and both spices are said to aide in wight loss too.

wow! never knew these spices could aid in weight loss too.Now wait and watch, I'll put these in my tea also...lol...just kidding! Coming onto the point of adding spices, same here i guess, I love adding the cinnamon and pepper. I don't know how you call them in english, but in the regional language it's called Garam Masala (to add hotness) , Degi Mirch (to add color along with chilliness), Aamchoor (to add a sweet & sour taste) and chat masala (to add spicy tinge to the dish) I love cooking and my favorite ones are spicy dishes indeed. :)

Well guess what? They actually make tea with those two in it to aide in weight loss, lol. I haven't tried that one but I bet it's not bad, the cinnamon when paired with that pepper looses it's cinnamon tastes and acts almost like a sugar brining out the natural sweetness in food. I have heard of some of the spices you mentioned. I'm just now learning to like spicy dishes, the area I live in now has huge Mexican and Indian populations so the restaurants are everywhere and everyone here cooks their food spicy.

Ah don't worry, you mostly got it right. And you also reminded me of a spice I missed. (I have plenty to keep track of)

I love cinnamon and use it in many things like baked goods (cookies, quick breads, fruit crisp...), oatmeal, and cider. I like cumin and pepper for many dips, salsas, sauces, soups, chili, and stews.
