The man is lucky he didn't get shot. It just happens the robbers were scared when he began waving his bat at them. Good thing they ran. It paints a funny mind picture though. He actually chased them to their vehicle and smashed a headlight and everything. They probably thought he was nuts and were running for their lives. A good ending though...he wasn't robbed or hurt...and the would-be robbers were caught.

People are becoming vigilantes now, no one is putting up with anything anymore. He is not the first man who attempted this or who has done this.

Thank you, estherlou! That's the kind of news I like to read. I've been told a similar one by one of its protagonists. An old lady I know has a sister who is kind of bats in the bellfry and lives with her. One day two robbers entered the house. While in the kitchen one of them took a big knife. When they met the two sisters, one of them (the nuts one) began to shout with all her voice while the other one (not so nuts) like an old teacher looked grimly at them and said: "What are you doing here? Leave that knife immediatly!". The one with the knife obeyed and threw it down and both of them ran away.

Good for him!! I would not recommend handling that way, it is very risky, but glad that they ran. It could have had a worse ending. I am also glad that they caught them, it may save someone else from being robbed by them.

Usually not the smartest of moves but in his case worked out to his advantage . Luckily neither him or his family were hurt and they were able to apprehend the two men .
One never knows for sure what they will do when faced with danger and it is always nice to hear a happy ending such as this .

wow!! the store owner was really brave and i respected that! but let's look back, he was a little bit reckless. he even chased the robber to their vechicle. that was crazy because he didnt know if the robber had backup. what if yes?
god bless him. he is alright.

The store owner was certainly brave to chase them out with his bat like that. I do not think most owners would do something like that. Fortunately he was not hurt and glad to hear that the robbers were caught.

Good for him. You don't know what those robbers would have done if they got away with it. Maybe they would have shot him, his wife, and baby after they robbed the store, but for that they would have to stop and think. They were looking for victims and the store owner showed that he wasn't one. That shows what someone can do to protect his family.

Hi estherlou! That is amazing and funny. That store owner is kinda brave but is somehow reckless because he never thought that he was putting his life in danger, or maybe he was thinking that nobody can mess up with him and he is really making a stand and is fighting back. Good thing, he is alright. Very brave, indeed! Take care and have a nice day!

Good job on the store owner! But of course I'm just waiting for some lawyer to spin this against him (it happens). Sometimes you just have to stand up to the punks.
