are you ready for to buy an apartment or a house finacially ?

since i was a child,i wish to have my own apartment or house. that time i just want to be independent.but now,i graduated from college,and found a job,which can support me well. so my bf and i are considering to buy a small apartment by loan.
as you know,the price of housing is going up every months every year.we really fear that one day we can't afford to buy one even by loan from a bank.
do you have an apartment or a house? or are you ready to buy one?

Heck no! I am on disability and I will never be able to buy a house or a condo (apartment). My budget will probably only ever afford a rental apartment or a recreational vehicle.

There are advantages to buying a motor home or a trailer. They are like mini homes that you can move if you need to because they have wheels attached. If you get a rotten neighbor, it is easier to move away. If there is a disaster, which are becoming more common, it is easier to evacuate. The climate changes, you can move, so on and so on...

I come from China.In my country the motor home can't be accepted by people because of many reasons.First living in the motor home is not safe as there are many vthieves ,hijackers.Second in China you must attain the agreement if you are not a city's person and want to stay there for a long time.If you live in the motor home my government will restrict you to move here or there ,if you dont agree they will clap you into prison .

China is very restrictive. I wouldn't be able to stand it in China I don't think! But what country do you live in lisa_wxy?

frankly, i want to own my apartment, but i can't afford it now.
several months ago, my parents bought an apartment for my younger brother who will marry a kind girl in the next year. it costs $30,000. it is a big money for my parents, because they paid about $30,000 for my college expense. and i want to send my younger brother a present, it costs $1500. so now i have to work hard to earn more money.
then i hope i can earn more for my own appartment in next 3 years.

well,i have the same plan for a long time.but as the price of housing is going up so high that i can't catch up with its speed of increasing. i have to hold on and keep an eye on the estate market.if it is a suitable place with reasonable price,i would buy a small apartment by loan.
but considering the loan,it would be harder for me.
