I hate junk foods. in this modern fast food world its very difficult to avoid junk foods also. however i and my whole family use to consume the World class wellness company natural products which helps us remove toxins from the body and give more oxygen and blood circulation to the body and strenthen the immune system
have a healthy and wealthy life

Junkfood is an addiction (sugar and salt etc.. is addictive) so it IS hard to give up - but once you've done it successfully you don't really want it - you don't miss it once you've broken that addiction.

Eating healthy is very hard to maintain for people who are always busy (posting on myLot :D). They do end up eating fast food and drinking soda. :P

I think that and a problem getting enough excercise is also a problem if you are sitting all the time. Thats why we do need breaks to keep some balance.

I only buy myself a limited amount, and I spend the rest of my money on other kinds of foods. I generally don't have enough money to waste on stuff like that.

Thats true because its all so exspensive now. I think many of us have had to take the budget into consideration these days. Its more like rare treats when we do splurge on things like junk food.

DON"T GIVE UP JUNK FOOD IN ORDER TO BE HEALTHIER - OFCOURSE IN THIS PRESENT TOXIC WORLD IT IS NOT POSSIBLE FOR MOST OF THE PERSONS TO CONSUME 8 KINDS OF NATURAL FRUITS AND VEGITABLES IN THEIR DAILY FOOD.
ALONG WITH YOUR JUNK FOOD - YOU CAN DAIL CONSUME "GANODERMA" HERBAL PRODUCTS WHICH WILL REMOVE THE TOXINS FROM YOUR BODY - GIVE MORE BLOOD AND OXYGEN - HENCE YOUR BODY IMMUNE SYSTEM WILL BE IN STRENGTH TO PROTECT VIRUS AND BACTERIAS AND KEEP YOU HEALTHY.
HAVE A HEALTHY AND WEALTHY DAYS!!!!

For me it is easy, as I go to the gym regularly I eat very healthily knowing that two hours of keep fit and muscle building the last thing I want to do is build up with junk! I never go to junk food restaurants all that grease yuk! My only junk food vice is chocolate, well you can't deprive a man of all his pleasures ;0)

Oh I couldn't give up junk food if I tried - I would simply die - no honestly I would! I'm useless at cooking, I live on my own and work full time - so when I come home from work the quickest thing is to chuck something in the microwave! Now I know you're going to say I'm lazy, but I can assure you i'm not! I'm a born terrible cook - I burn soup. I have tried to cook in the past and end up throwing it in the bin because it's burned/tastes vile so i've given up being so wasteful and will stick to microwave meals from now on - it's better on the environment!

hello eaforeman6. Yes, I can say that I can give up junkfood in order to be healhier. At first it was hard but, little by little I notice that I dont eat junkfood that much anymore. At first I started avoiding junkfood and started eating fruits and vegetables instead.

We can sure get the cravings for the bad stuff. Its like retraining your habits and its hard to break them over night. I am trying to make it rare treats and otherwise..its fruits and veggies...

If I think of junk food, then I try to pick up an orange or a piece of fruit instead. Its just as good to have a veggie because I like them too. Baby carrots and other veggies are good to keep on hand.

You dont have to give up junk food to become healthy... There is a saying that all things should be took in moderation!
And besides, if you were to eat only healthy food you would become de-malturished (what ever the word is) so you need that extra fat / sugar / energy in youre life!

No you wouldn't become malnourished if you only ate healthy food, because that's what healthy food is: contains everything your body needs for health, including sugar (fruit etc...), fat (milk, cheese etc...) and carbohydrates for energy (breads etc..)

Sadly maybe I cannot do that. although I know that its really not healhty consuming junk food and all. why junk food had to be so tasty? but probably if it not that tasty it will not called junk food.
But I did try to minimize my consumption of junk food.

i am not really sure about this and would not want to be hypocrite and say yes right away.. but can't do it in real life.
right now i am on a low fat low salt diet but i have not been diligently avoiding it to this time. so there.. maybe it would depend on my motivating factor.

Hi there my friend. 2 weeks a go I went to one city, southern part of Croatia and stayed in a friends family. I noticed how they managed the family to stay away from junkies. The family members are 4, one son and one daughter, and all of them are working. The mother and -sometimes- her daughter or the father prepared some basic things in the evening, so that she/the mom can cook the meal the next day when she coming back from her office around 3 o clock in the afternoon. Her husband and kids are coming back around 4 or 5 o clock in the afternoon. Then they having their meal around 5 or 5-30.
So they only having their main meal once in a day. Breakfast and afternoon home made ?lunch?... And in the evening they didnt have dinner, only some fruits. I noticed thats how the family stay away from the junk meal. Or maybe it is just the tradition there, I dont know... Because I didnt ask, are their neighbours do the same thing?...
May fun be with you.
p.s.: Thanks for picked my reply as your best answer for your deja vu tophic.

In my mind, I've changed the name from 'junk' food to 'treat' food... we have it one day a week and make it special! Since my Hun is diabetic, he can't have much... but to say he couldn't have ANY got him all rebellious! We found a place where we could satisfy the cravings and not hurt either of us!
When my kids were small, I lost 75 lbs. by deciding I HATED cookies... since cookies were the only sweets I kept around, it worked! The mind and the cravings can be controlled... when I want a grease-burger, I chew on broccoli until I'm over it!
