Which would you rather be: beautiful or intelligent?

hmm..is a hard question.really.Because human are borne with greediness.however to answer your question,i believe i will choose intelligence over a beautiful face.Why?Its because with a smart brain , i can get my face done with plastic.Joking aside.With an intelligent brain ,one can get most of the things he desires in life.I think its a pretty good trade for a pretty face when u can gain so much in life.

I will choose to be intelligent. As a beautiful face will fade away after time goes by. But nobody can steal my wisdom. Being smart and therefore nobody will cheat me. It is better.

this post is a tough one! huh! but to choose from two.. i'll go with intelligence.. I am not a person who is deceived by looks..because I believe that what matters most is the inner well being of a person. we need minds and heart to be a good person.. physical attributes are just secondary.... :)

I'm already intelligent. What would I do with beauty, too? People would be fawning all over me and I would have to use all my intelligence to get them away from me! Ha,ha, just kidding. Actually, all the kids I envied who were beautiful have made total and complete messes of their lives as adults. Their lives are so complicated it takes a site map to figure it out. 3 ex-husbands or wives, Fridays are a real mess, delivering all the kids to the different parents. Some got into some heavy stuff, they don't look so pretty any more,esp. the ones that got into all kinds of illegal stuff. Us plain janes start out way behind in our minds, but end up way farther ahead inbetween and I'll let you know about the end toward the end of my life. But for right now, I'm glad I'm smart and didn't marry until I found someone smart, loving, and plain like me.

I think i will choose "intelligent",because becoming beautiful seems like impossible now,but being intelligent is likely to be successful? ^_^

I'd rather be intelligent. Why? because I'd be able to help to solve problems in this world. I might discover a new invention, or the cure for deadly diseases.For that purposes, I might need support from someone who is beautiful and she'd rather be my wife. LOL

i prefer to be intelligent for sure... beauty can fade with times but intelligent stays forever in your brain and nobody can steal it away from you... so i definitely choose to be wise and intelligent rather than beauty...

I would choose intelligent,because if you were that smart you would be so successful in everthing that you do.And with all theat intelligents you can go out and get yourself a whole body make over.

It is very good question. If I would have to choose one, I will prefer to be intelligent. If you're intelligent, it means that you will be able to go ahead in your life. To be beautiful doesn't always mean that you can be successful in life. People may exploit your beauty. Besides, beautiful can't last longer. When you're becoming old, your beauty will be fade. On the other hand, if you're intelligent, it won't fade because of age.

I think I would prefer intelligence more than having a beautiful face...^^...If I'm intelligent, I can find a good paying job, then maybe, just maybe I will have a plastic surgery later..^^

One must be intelligent to be beautiful. Lets face it, Beautiful people are inelligent! Theres an olde saying.. Beauty shines out from within! True beauty isn't only on the outside! Trust Me!

I am not beautiful according to society's standard but I know that I am a beuatiful person. As for intelligence I have that. Outward beauty is skin deep when you truly get to know a person they you will be able to decide whether they ar beautiful or not. I chose intelligence though. when I was 16 I was asked by a guy if I am not sorry that I had brains instead of beauty I told him no because from that age I wa happy with who I am. So I chose I intelligence. I get move around alot where I work but people never regretted having me as their Secretary. I bring a high level of quality to the work and thus everybody has to work to attain it. I was told by a secretary taking my place that my shoes were hard to be filled. So i take intelligence any time and proud of it.

Already intelligent so I know what that is like. I might choose beauty just to see what that is like, but I don't think its worth it. I'd probably go for intelligent since I can help a lot more people with an actual, working and powerful brain than I could with an empty fake smile and body.

There is no doubt in my mind that I would rather be intelligent instead of beautiful. Looks fade with time but your intelligence you'll have for much longer.

Very tough question indeed, mermaid.(",) They say that beautiful woman is lucky in love but I won't choose being beautiful only without a brain. I do believe that beauty will soon fade as one gets older but the wisdom that you have will never be taken away from you. It's a good thing that one has a beautiful face that others may admire and envy at the same time. It's also nice if one is intelligent because other admire you for being so learned and smart. If one has beauty and intelligent but doesn't have a good heart and character, it's worthless and useless. I'd rather have a good heart to be able to touch lives and bring a smile to others. Because I have been blessed with beauty in this lifetime- and I am fairly intelliegent- I would choose to be intelligent- science and math intellignet to be exact :)
