Do u wash ur hands after using a public restroom?

Always. Sometimes I do it twice. And if I have any I'll use hand sanitizer afterwards. Its disgusting that some people don't wash up after using the facilities, but it happens. Yes, I've seen my share of them. And a little tidbit, usually the ones who don't wash up smell bad too, so its their conduct in the matter isn't surprising.

Ofcourse I do that... I have a habit of washing hands after using the restroom everytime... Infact, it feels awkward to me if I don't wash my hands afterwards... I think everybody should wash their hands after using the public restroom... Bad manners if u don't do it...

I always wash my hands after using the restroom. I do notice that some people either wash their hands without soap or not wash their hands at all.

HECK YEAH I wash my hands!! YUCK! How can these people not wash their hands?! ewwww ewwwww ewwww!! Let me give you some pointers. I don't use the first part of the toilet paper because the last person may have wiped themselves and then got another piece. So I take the first piece and throw it in the toilet then I'll use the next and how every much I need. Then knowing someone used the bathroom before me, I'll get a tissue to open the latch on the door. Now the fawcets, other's before me had their hands on them so I'll turn it on, get some soap and wash my hands and then I'll wash the knobs on the sink and rinse it off to be sure it's clean when I go to turn it off. Then I'll get a paper towel to open the door because I know there are others who went to the bathroom and left without washing their hands which means they touched the door handle. I'm VERY careful not to get germs on me anywhere. lol

ok....question....whats the first thing you do after you wash your hands and you're about to leave the restroom? Answer...you grab hold of the door handle, the same door handle that everyone who left before you has grabbed. SO...did you really accomplish anything by washing you hands? I try and wash mine too before I leave...but use my shoulder or elbow to push the door open. Just something for you to think about...lol

I must wash my hands after using any rest room

this i do everytime. actually i am very much reluctant to use public toilet. but in my office i have no alternative. it is very very clean toilet. still i wash hand everytime after using it.

yes all the times. i almost wash all time if its public toilet or at my home also. i think we should be safe from germs and all these things.in office i always wash my hand after using the public toilet. i generally try not to use public toilet much as i am very concerned about cleaniness.

hi claire03, my dear feind, i always wash my hands after using a public restroom. it is never that i ahve not washed them. i dont feel good. i cant touch anything. it is so unhygenis . so many people go there ., there are so much of germs ewww, i just cant do without washing my hands properly. i wash them with the soap and then drythem there and then touch anything. i dont like to copme straight. i sometimes washes my face too when i am too tired or too sweaty like when it is too hot or something like that. it is true that the bacteria are transfered if we dont wash the hands and the allergies also passes from one person to another. when i was pregnant my doctor has advised me not to use public toilets and if i use i should lay toilet paper on it and then sit and pee. and then wash my hands thoroughly.

I completely agree with you my friend asfar as washing hands after using a public restroom is concerned. Its really a good practice and try not to forget to wash one's hands after visiting a restroom in public places. You never know when some germ would enter your body and might become a cause of some serious illness later on. I do keep a hand sanitizer in my purse always as I am a working woman and for around ten hours I am out of my house. Its a very good habit you can say and one should form such habits. A person should be so used to washing hands after using a public restroom that it just happen unconsciously. Also these habits are inculcated in our children right from their childhood if we elders take care of this. I have to take care of this specially as I have a daughter and when I take her along with me out I want her to be knowing about the habits at the publics places.

I will definitely wash my hands after using a public restroom.. But i've also seen lotsa ple whom dun even flush at all after finishing their business and just walking out of the toilet without washing their hands too!! It just makes me feel so digusted..

Hello claire03 :) I always do...Even at home I always wash my hands..I became very concerned (to the point of being paranoid) about clean hands when I had my first baby. I feel that my hands should always be clean. I wash it often, I feel my hands are dirty if I dont wash it ofter, even if I'm just at home typing at the keyboard away (I told you I'm paranoid about my hands being dirty ^__^ )

Yes, I always wash my hands after using public or private restroom because this place contains maximum germs. One should be in the habit of doing so as its an important lesson of hygiene. Though once I read an article in a magazine that men usually are not in the habit of washing their hands after using restrooms. I dont understand why but most of them do like that.

I do. But after washing my hands, I never forget to use a moisturizer to prevent my skin from dryness. It's also very recommendable to bring along with you a bottle of hand sanitizer wherever you go just in case there's no water available. Hand sanitizer will also prevent your skin from drying (especially if you frequently use hard soaps in washing your hands).

Hi there, yeah i do and i always bring Sanitary gel in my bag or sometimes in my pocket to prevent me from harmful diseases. Using a public restroom is somewhat uneasy and even there's a janitor who does the cleaning, still it is not 100% safe. Yes i always do. Some public restrooms are just so disguisting! I hate the fact that i have to use them. I have hand sanitizer i always use. Especially around winter time because it seems like everyone gets sick around this time.

of course, its better to be safe than sorry. remeber SARS? Japan was supposedly close to Southeast Asia region and yet seemed immune to it. We should learn from the Japanese on how to stay politically hygenic to be on the safe side. Not only for ourselves but also for people around us. At least when something like the SARS hits us again, we are better prepared for what's to come. besides, it doesn't cost an arm to be a little hygenic at all.

I wash my hand very often a day so of couse one of the time is when I am using a public restroom.Also when I was my hands I am trying to open door the way I am not touching anything.Sometimes it can be pretty good chalenge:)

Oh definitely I do. I also use hand sanitizer and hand lotion afterwards.
